Started by Dave in 1978, he was joined by his wife Leslie in 1980 and both have degrees from The Ohio State University in Horticulture. Many years ago, we decided to grow plants that local nurseries did not stock. The first criteria for choosing plants was whether or not they were hardy for our area--not just able to survive, but they had to thrive!
Our talented professionals can create a design that is unique, functional and low maintenance just for you. We can show you a wide variety of plants that offer color, texture, size and shape that you won't find anywhere else---and most of it is propagated and grown at our farm in Delaware, OH. And because the plants grown locally, we can offer them at a very reasonsable prices.

We first encountered Dannaher at the OSU plant sale a couple of years ago. Recently we decided to update our front yard, so we went to them since the plant shows are on hiatus. They were extremely kind and informative then, and now. They go out of their way to make sure you understand the care for the plants you're purchasing, and they ask questions to make sure they'll thrive where planted.

Great people, great work! I love the landscaping they did for us. I purchased a design from them. They were willing to work with us to swap out plants for those I wasn't a fan of. Dave brought several other plant options with him when he came so I could pick out different ones to substitute for any I didn't like. the end result is absolutely lovely, and the pricing was great too. I will definitely work with them again.

Met the lady at the Chadwick sale looking to purchase a tree. She was pretty condescending and short with my wife and I as we asked questions. After talking with her about a particular tree for 15 min someone else walked up and picked up the tree, she didn't stop them and said to me, " you'll have to work it out with them." I'd stay away. Very sad they treat people with disrespect.
