Well, Bruce and I just came inside after sitting on our deck for about an hour, enjoying our new back yard. WE LOVE IT!.We really are sooo happy with the design. If I don't look at the house, I feel like I'm on vacation somewhere that is beautiful! Even if I do look at the house and remember that it is OUR sanctuary, it's even better!
If you like the idea but are hesitant because you don't want to turn your yard into farm rows, consider a landscape design that incoporates the vegetables, herbs and flowers that you enjoy into a landscaped garden. Beautiful to look at, wonderful to eat, savings at the grocery store! If you want to enjoy some more outdoor activities, gardening is worth exploring.
Summer.time to immerse myself outdoors into the longer days and warmer sun with shorts and sandals. There are so many positive things to do now to really help with our expenses this year and in our gardens as well. Our gardens are places we can have some control over in our lives. Everyone I talk to is anxious when thinking about the cost of water usage in their gardens after another dry winter. A beautiful landscape does not require a green lawn along with its heavy water usage, weekly maintenance and related costs.
