Paradise Lawn & Maintenance

The staff was professional. On time, worked hard and were friendly. The quality of work was top notch. I cannot say enough good things about Scott Stewart and Paradise. I have received no compensation for this review. It's a sincere as it gets. Definitely recommend them!

I hired this company to cut my yard and was injured and hospitalized shortly after. Because I was in the hospital and in recovery, I was unable to pay and was charged a late fee. After paying my original priced invoice and explaining my case via email and asking if they could please waive the late fee because of the events that took place that were out of my control and after attempting multiple times to contact them, I simply got no reply.

It's a real shame that this company took this stand and handled this situation in the fashion that they did because I really did like this company and waited all year for this time of year specifically to invest in my property's landscape. Not only was I gonna make my personal property look nice through this company, I was going to hire them to manage the landscape at my other properties as well. But oh well. I guess I just have to give my money to somebody else.

UPDATE: Scott the owner called me back to yell at me. I asked him if I could explain what my issue was and finally he let me. I get the mulch only costs a delivery fee, but you'd be far better off paying for mulch and avoiding this unprofessional company. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. They delivered mulch in a completely different area than we had agreed upon.

The area they delivered the mulch was so far away that the individual I had originally contracted to spread it would have charged me triple. When I called the company on a Wednesday, I was informed Scott was on vacation and they couldn't do anything without his permission. I called multiple times and the following Monday was told he would be getting back that afternoon and would call.

On Thursday I called again and they were surprised Scott hadn't answered me. By now I have reached out to other companies and was quoted a moving/spreading price. On Friday morning I got a call and was told they would move it in the afternoon. I asked how much additional to spread and was quoted more than the other company. I asked if they'd work with me on the delivery fee and not worry about moving it and they would not.

So then when I asked for a time so I could make sure the second company could spread the mulch they couldn't give me anything other than after lunch sometime, maybe one or two. I am so frustrated with the whole experience I've asked them to please pick up the mulch and I will pay for a more professional company to get the job done!

Hands down the best landscaping company: reliable, careful, and respectful. I've used them for about five years and LOVE Paradise Lawn. In addition to regular maintenance, they installed boulders in my front yard and created a terraced front- I'm a very happy customer! They are a family-owned business, highly recommend!

He was late showing up to give a bid. Then proceeds to tell me he doesn't do the kind of maintenance we need. It's mowing and weedeating. What a waste of my time.
