We gave them a blank canvas and they created a beautiful retreat that exceeded all of our hopes. We now have the sanctuary in our back yard that we used to drive to Hocking Hills to enjoy. We'd do it all again, but only with J.R. Thomas Landscaping!.

Absolutely great experience! We hired them off multiple recommendations and they did not disappoint. We installed a pool and needed significant landscaping around the new pool. It was a big project. Kyle was our main contact and he was great. Very professional, created a beautiful landscape design, and was very receptive to our questions and input on the design.
The crew that did the installation was just as impressive. Their work was amazing and were very polite. They were even great with my little ones who loved watching them out the window. I keep going back to J.R. year after year for spring cleaning and they are always my first call for a potential outdoor project.

I first used JR Thomas in the 1980's for landscaping around a deck and hot tub. I was very pleased and again used them for a redesign of landcaping on a new house in the 1990's. Moved to another place in 2000's and they redsigned and installed new lansdcaping for the entire yard. I now use them for landscape management. Like the workers and designs.

I was walking one day and happened to notice J. R. Thomas Landscaping working on a project for my neighbor. Each day that I walked by, I paid close attention to how things were done. I knew that we would need to hire a landscaping company in the near future. I was amazed at how neat and tidy the whole process was kept throughout the duration of the project.
The end result was gorgeous and beautifully done! The time eventually came for us to find a landscaping company for our project. My husband wanted me to get bids from three different companies, but I convinced him that, with the excellent quality of their work, J. R. Thomas Landscaping was the only company to use. I am very particular with high expectations especially when it comes to my front yard for all to see. I chose JR Landscaping where I worked with Kyle on the entire process. He was very professional, listened to and addressed my landscape issues, and always had answers to my many questions. I really trust Kyle's expertise and appreciate how he educates you as a client.
He walked through the entire design and explained the reasoning for selecting each plant/tree along with recommendations to making other enhancements. Never pushy and was all ears to anything that I may have asked changed. When the landscaping officially started Kyle stopped by and went over the process step-by-step. He was always available via text/call - again I always had questions, so I valued his responsiveness.

We had a fantastic experience with JR Thomas Landscaping! They completely redesigned our front landscape using a very cool rock design, lighting and the perfect amount of plantings. The crew (Ray and Jeff) were very helpful and knowledgeable -- great to have onsite and enjoyed their updates during the project. I recommend this company highly and am completely satisfied -- I hope to bring them back again to do the rear design of our property in the future. They are THE BEST IN TOWN!

JR and his team did landscaping for us last Fall and we couldn't be happier with our experience and the end results. JR took the time to ask questions about what we wanted (clear out an overgrown bed and give us something with privacy and low maintenance) and provided a plan that met our needs. Good service is hard to come by, but not the case with J. R. Thomas landscaping. They are always professional, thorough, and flexible. Not only is the crew great to work with, but so is the office staff and the owner, J. R. He comes out during all seasons to check on the landscaping and is easy to work with. They aim to please and they do just that! Highly recommended.
