Trees can be one of the loveliest elements of the garden. Some trees are flowering, providing big splashes of seasonal color. Others offer vibrant foliage throughout the spring, summer and fall, while some varieties have lush green foliage that turns to the brilliant hues that usher in the autumn season.
Shrubs help to create your landscape's personality. Do you want masses of flowers, brilliant foliage colors, a privacy screen, or a low-growing hedge? Do you hope to welcome birds and butterflies? There are many types of shrubs to meet your all of your needs. Deciduous shrubs offer such an amazing array of features that it's no wonder that they are some of the most popular plants! With all the flowering shrubs available, where do you start? Most have showy displays of flowers, often blooming for long periods of time.
Evergreens make perfect backgrounds, borders and barriers. Think of green-leaved evergreens as the "little black dresses" of the garden. They create a backdrop for the garden "jewels" - the plants that bloom or have interesting leaf colors, allowing them to really pop. Or you can consider green-leaved evergreens the "white space" of the garden, giving your eyes a place to rest as they take in all of the splendid colors of the garden. Just as importantly, evergreens can be used to make year-round garden borders and privacy screens.
Spring flowers come in a procession of blooming times. It is especially nice to plan to have some plants that will bloom in the early-spring, mid-season and then the late-spring to prolong this season's beauty in your yard for as long as possible. For example, try camellia and pieris for early flowers, azalea and rhododendron for a mid-season show followed by sweetspire and red-twig dogwood for a late-season pop of color. Spring flowers are essential for busy butterflies, hummingbirds, bees and other pollinators.

Keep away from Stadler: they make excuses to not honor their warranty and trick you into thinking the warranty actually means anything. I emailed Manoella Vianna two years ago to say my expensive Cherokee Red dogwood wasn't looking good PRIOR to putting in low voltage lighting around it, but she said not to worry about it when I sent her the pics and then I called last year and was told to give it more time.
Now the tree looks terrible with at a large amount of dead wood but Manoella Vianna said they would only replace it with the original size and I would be responsible for the low voltage wiring expenses.. Stadler used to be awesome but sadly no more.

They sold us an unhealthy tree. They replaced it at end of season. The following season it lasted a couple months them died. I wasn't sure if it was just dying off early and decided to wait until the next season to see if it came back and it didn't. The tree they sold then planted for me is dead. When 8 reached out to them they gave me the run around for a month then emailed me and said "sorry about your luck". Never again will I buy from this place. I'm in the market for another tree and could have been a customer for life. This how they treat their customers. Shameful!

Great location with plenty of options, I'm sure the staff is knowledgeable, and in most instances, committed to enhancing the experience of any weary patron that might stumble upon a new location. This is for my beautiful blue eyed, blonde princess at the counter. From our conversation I can only assume that you maintain some sort of authority at this location and thus I understand your initial response when I asked for a contact for a wholesale fruit tree grafter that you may know.
Potential competition, or maybe loss of business, right? idk. Regardless, I mentioned the fact that I was looking more specifically for an experienced grafter that may be able to help me learn. Knowledge. with the intent to give back to the community and the possibility to flourish a network of relationships. I feel that it is imprudent that you proceeded to question someone's intelligence and suggest Google as a substitute for proper research.
Your job as far as im concerned is to be an ambassador and face for the company and advocate the growth of our wonderful diverse plant community. Not to look at someone and feel privledged enough to cast judgement. As a secondary or tertiary source, google does not compare to primary source education from either a data base or, ding ding ding* a living, breathing practitioner of inoculation.
I respect your decision to not give out the name of your "supplier", but your not selling drugs lady. You sell plants. Needless to say I will not return and I wish you well. Brown and Proud Peace

Great selection of perennials, not as many annuals. Also a lot of trees, and they will plant for free during their promotions (above a certain price, of course). Staff is very nice and accommodating to our needs. A minor problem with one of our plants was rectified promptly and politely. Will continue to patronize this place.

Love our new Crepe Myrtle! Can't wait to see it bloom in time. What an awesome experience in dealing with Stadler Nurseries on Mount Zion Road right from the start. Since we were not able to get out and pick our own tree, Molly did a fantastic job selecting a beautiful specimen for us. We were not disappointed when the tree arrived. Thank you, Molly!
The planting crew arrived within the window of time we were given. The crew did a great job planting, positioning, bracing and mulching. They were quick about their work, with no compromises, polite and friendly. They cleaned up the work area and didn't leave a spec of debris behind. We have dealt with other nurseries who were not as meticulous and friendly.
So happy we reached out to Stadler. The tree is thriving and growing and only in the ground less than a month. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. We will surely reach out again for our plant and tree needs.
