Was recommended to them by a great local nursery. Unfortunately have to agree with several of the reviews here: they said they'd come out and never did. This is becoming an all too common occurrence with contractors and I believe potential customers should know. If I say I'm going to do something, I do it. That's just how I live my life. If a business doesn't do the same.well then I'm not going to follow up or hunt them down.
They'll just get my negative review and none of my hard earned money. Too bad for them: my new home on 3 acres would have been a big new account for them. Just ask the nursery who recommended these guys! I'm not shy when it comes to spending on my property. Oh well! On to the next. Consider yourself forewarned if considering these guys!

If you are seeking a high-quality, professional staff to place your trust in, this company is not the one. They are never on time, they fail to meet the schedules they set for purposes of fungus control and fertilization. Made two attempts to voice my concerns with the owner, never received any responses. The company wants nothing but your hard-earned money, customer service is NOT in their vocabulary.

Secure Turf has taken great care of my yard for four or five years. They have improved it. I've also had them come out to do some trimming of my crepe myrtle. This year, I had to do something about some holly bushes or trees in my back yard that were just too unruly for me to handle. I was very pleased with the result. Service: Yard work

Secure Turf is an excellent company. I have used their services for several years and have always been very satisfied. I also had them install some landscaping and plantings. Awful Only time we saw someone is when they signed us up Had various problems with the lawn Asked Rep on more than one occasion to come out and look at it All he wanted to do was talk about it on the phone and up sell me Lawn has never looked so bad They come and spray but offer no advice written or orally as your lawn goes south Just spray chemicals on dead grass and collect money They are obviously are not interested in small accounts and the level of service proves it Look elsewhere and save your lawn and your money Perhaps one of the worst lawn care services around

Do not waste your time. I reached out to them to get a quote. No one ever contacted me. Then out of nowhere I started getting emails from them like I am a valued customer! Clearly I am not, you never replied to my quote request, why would I want emails from you talking about the services you offer?!?!? Clearly this company lives in another planet.

As a customer by more than a year and my lawn in ruined condition I tried to reach customer service and then onto a supervisor. Had to wait for 3 days to get a call from Jonathan only to be told that he is travelling. Customer service tells me that she was not the person that I spoke to 3 days back and hence can't do anything. Such pathetic attitude. This is irrespective of the fact that I called secure turf office 5 weeks back and spoke Jonathan about the lawn condition. You are really at the mercy of these guys!

This place was recommended for my needs. I had an appointment with Jamie on 2/26 and was so excited to move forward to get the job done. He told me he would send me an email after he got the quote from the 'estimator'. I failed to ask how long that would take. So I called in on the 7th day 3/5 and asked Connie who answered the phone how long does it take to get estimate once we have someone come out she said about 24hrs!
I told her it's been 7 das she said she would call Jamie and I would get it that afternoon & she would follow up with a call to ensure I got it-no email no call-I called back 3/6, spoke to Connie and she said"you didn't get the email?" I said no & you never called back either. She said I'll make sure he gets that to you today-I said never mind I don't want to do business with your company! I only gave a one star rating so I could do a post-they are NOT deserving of the star! I hope Mr Ray sees this!

Well, 1 yr and done.crab grass a plenty, called my rep was inspected (dexter) and he confirmed. My next treatment was expedited, received call (recorded) on 7/14, that treatment would be 7/17. Saw no sign left as usual to confirm treatment so called, 7/19, was told I was set for treatment in 7-10 days. I called Dexter, ,,,,,"well I don't really do anything with scheduling, and I'm at lunch",,,,,,W OW, thanks. Did say he would check on it, but the luster is gone, ,,,s o 1 yr and done.

Not shocked at all to see a bunch of 1 star reviews on this company, I only wish that I had looked them up on Yelp before hiring them. These people are asleep at the wheel. Over the last 18 months, I've called, written emails, and met face to face at my property with their reps on three separate occasions to resolve issues with their service.
Rather than removing leaves from the property they simply blew them into the corner of my yard against my fence, killing a large portion of my grass and creating a new "bed" of leaves and debris. I emailed pictures of the problem and showed it to reps from the company in person yet they did nothing. They offered to provide quotes for other scopes of work to improve the property and I never heard anything back. Unresponsive, unhelpful, terrible service. As another customer wrote, my yard looks worse now than it did 18 months ago when they took control of it. I have asked for a refund.

I'm surprised everyone speaks so highly of their service because our experience thus far does not support it at all. My husband coordinated a visit from one of their reps to provide an estimate for aeration. After receiving the estimate, we decided to proceed with the aeration and added on an annual treatment package. Our aeration was scheduled for just over two weeks out and we were provided with a packet explaining the steps we would need to take in order to prepare our lawn.
The day of our treatment comes, we've done all of our "homework, " gotten other arrangements for our dogs, and we leave for work assuming they will complete the work for which they already have our credit card number. Well imagine our surprise when we arrive home at the end of the day to find out they had not shown up, nor did they call, email, mail, send any notification in any way. Nothing. Fortunately we had arrived home before 5pm and were able to get someone on the phone to explain that we had been rescheduled due to all of the rain we've experienced.
We get it. It's rained excessively. But no one could be bothered to notify us? The rain hasn't been an issue for four days now. Surely they knew they weren't going to make it to our home. Not only did they not tell us they weren't coming, they didn't tell us for when we were rescheduled! All of their paperwork states that they REQUIRE notice and they if they arrive and we haven't done our homework that WE get charged a $25 visit fee, but they don't even tell clients when they decide not to complete the services as promised? Had they needed to reschedule us, no problem. We could have reworked our schedules. But to not even be informed beforehand (not even afterward since we had to track them down)? That's just poor business.

UPDATE: After this post the president of the company reached out to me to apologize and explained the situation. He explained there were a series of items that were documented on my account incorrectly which led to the mis-communication. I've updated the rating from 1 star to 3 stars on the basis that I appreciate the follow-up and cannot provide comment on their actual product. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: I did not receive any services from Secure Turf and cannot speak to their actual output. But, I set up an account with them and a consultation.
The goal was to use SecureTurf to give my friend a lawn "make-over". What I got out of the experience was this: 1. Unresponsive until it's convenient for them. 2. Does not return voicemails. 3. Does not follow simple account instructions (unable to differentiate between a service contact person vs a billing contact person) 4. THE IMPORTANT ONE - Their quote was 5Xs more expensive than another vendor. ($125/hour to lay pine needles seems a bit excessive) Thanks, SecureTurf, for giving me valueable insight into the lawn-care industry.

We have used this company for a couple of years. They rescheduled multiple times due to all the rain we have had locally this summer and we rolled with it. We called because of a weed issue and they came out and treated but it killed our grass in front and back. We called them to report this and they came out and said they would fix it and we were thrilled with the wonderful customer service, great right? Wrong, they later emailed us telling us it was basically all our fault because we were not consistent with our treatments and that they would only fix it if we purchased additional add on treatments and didn't miss one treatment for the next year or they would come back and make us pay for what it cost them to fix our lawn from their error.
