SeaScape is now offering a Water Savers Program to help keep your lawn healthy and green this summer. Our Water Savers Program is the next generation in water conservation and can reduce your watering needs by up to 30%. In times of drought or where poor irrigation exists, this material enhances the soil's ability to hold moisture (up to 70 times) and can release it at a slower rate over time.
Grubs are white, C-shaped insects that feed on grass roots in August through October. They are difficult to identify until damage is done. In addition, grubs are food for animals such as skunks, raccoons and crows, and their damage from digging for grubs can occur overnight. The only way to protect your lawn is with a guaranteed grub control application.
SeaScape arborists know plant material and its unique pruning requirements. We follow recommended shrub pruning practices by hand pruning to maintain shape, size, and good health. Hand pruning retains the natural shape and keeps the crown open for better control of diseases and insects. When requested SeaScape professionals will do specialty pruning such as shearing, pollarding, pleaching, espaliering, or training as topiary.

I bumped my stars up to a 3 because of 2 mishaps with my address. I was referred to this company by a friend to have the lawn sprayed for ticks & fleas. I had one service thus far. Last week they went to the wrong house and I didn't get a call until the following week and they were coming out today and went to the wrong house. I should have been notified immediately They did not come today as scheduled.
No service form was left on my door nor was a stick put in the lawn that poison was applied. I have to say the least I am so angry and disatisfied. I called Seascape and left a message and said I want someone out here tomorrow. We live in a very easy area. If no one shows tomorrow I demand the entire full refund I paid back because I'm paid in full.
I will only update this review if someone comes tomorrow. Catherine, the owner, messaged me here & took care of the situation. Scott and another man who were very pleasant and professional came out first stop yesterday as I requested and all was taken care of. He completed our services. I was satisfied that Catherine handled this mishap immediately. Thank you all. Hoping I can bump to 5 stars.

Prior to this year I would have given SeaScape a stellar review as I have used them for years on various landscaping and tree removal services. My gripes are specifically with TreeSolutions, but as SeaScape contracts out work, it ultimately falls on them. I signed a contract late last year to remove a tree in my yard, remove some brush, top off a few trees for my solar panels, and haul off all the wood.
In early April '22 I get a call stating they will be there the following week. I happened to be on vacation that week and asked if they could bump it to the following week so I could be there when they did the job as one of my maple trees required some extra attention and I wanted to make sure the crew did what I wanted. They refused to change the week so I took my chances.
Sure enough when I returned, they did not perform the work on the maple like I had wanted. Also, the tree they cut down in the front was left there in big logs and never hauled off. I gave it a week thinking they might come back but they never did. I called the next week and spoke to one of the crew who said they would be out to take care of it within a week. 3 weeks go by and no sighting of them.
Finally in mid-May I call the office and speak to the scheduler and explain the situation. She calls me back and says someone will be out there next week to take care of it. She even calls on that following Monday to say someone will be out on Tuesday. Said person doesn't show up until Thursday and only takes two of the logs from the pile. I go and tell him what I want done with the maple and he says he'll need to come back.
I never see him again. Call again. Head crew guy says he will be there tomorrow to do it himself. Never shows. Over two months after the job and still no resolution. Had to hire another company to finish the job. Their myopic view of customer relations is appalling. They have lost all my future work and will never get a referral from me. Horrible business practices towards long-term customers.

After a season of SeaScape care, our lawn went from a 2 to a 9, with everyone who saw it commenting on it. I suggested to the phone contact changing to Organic (Natural) and was advised to drop from Platinum to Bronze for second season; so I did, and they have started treatments already. Took advantage of the prepay option, too. All good. Thanks, Seascape.

Have been a customer for three years. With a premium package that included aeration in the fall. This year I was disappointed by the companies services. With this much rain through the summer there is no reason to have dead spots. See pictures. During applications. I was told to stop bagging grass. - I did. I was told to buy and apply lawns seed. - I did 4X at $60/ bag.
I called and asked someone to come out and check my lawn. As now I have rust and clover. I was told to call back! Someone finally came by after I posted on their website asking for assistance on my lawn service. Gentleman showed up and as immediately defensive after much back and forth he agreed to reseed but took no responsibility on quality of my lawn.
All that was done was to put some seed down. I'm not sure how this will combat rust. When I checked later tonight I see where many spots were missed with seeding of dead spots. See pictures. I didn't criticize previous years as we had far less rain. Lawn should be much better with this much rain. What's the point? Lazy is lazy and not defendable. See pictures.
Follow up 9/24: after seeing this review a rep contacted me and offered to send a seeding crew out. Today they they showed up in the rain seeded and plugged/aerated the lawn. Hoping these steps help! Nice to be called with an offer to help.

Our law has never looked better. We have used a couple competitors but these guy have a really great treatment and fabulous staff working to give us the best experience. My husband approached them about some spots we seeded and they added a note to our file and had a plan so it would not be treated with any germinating preventative until it is established. We will see how it looks in a year.

I've used other companies for my lawn in the past. Waist of money. I swore I'd never pay for lawn care again. I saw Seascape in my neighborhood and at my neighbors house so I inquired. I have never been more pleased with what they do. My lawn looks amazing. I highly recommend contacting them, they are not just another company they know what they're doing.

Loved them at first but noticed decline over the whole time I used them, then going so far as to using the wrong equipment on my yard and covering every square inch (including driveway, foundation, house) Arguing about it over the phone with me only to send someone out and power wash my property (using my water)I'll never use them or recommend them again. Using a ride on spreader for a yard that's half the size of 12' wide.
This wasn't an accident it was purely a lazy operator. And as I've noticed from other reviews they're still at it. Over priced and quality is poor. Doesn't matter when I canceled your service, reviews don't have an expiration date. And you (the owner) is the one who argued with me ( bad business) have a great day!

Very unhappy. Had them spray for mosquitoes. Got a new fire pit. Excited to finally be able to sit outside as I am a mosquito magnet. 14 mosquito bites. So not happy. Called to complain. Only last 3 weeks at most, thatds what we were told when called. Hello! Then why didn't you tell us or spray again within 3 weeks as we paid for the whole summer. Unhappy. Will get quotes from other companies.

The worst company I've ever done business with. At this years second application, fertilizer was pooled up in chunks in the middle of the lawn which caused it to burn. Asked for someone to come out to see it and no one ever came. When I called to complain, the representative was completely indifferent stating "Well, do you want to end your service?" After I asked for someone to come out. Horrible lawn care company.

Updated 5/21/19 Changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Upon writing my original review I was promptly contacted by the company and they agreed to come back and make it right. Bob came and talked to me about what I had wanted done and even gave some suggestions which I agreed with. He took time to make sure he was 100% aligned before cutting, and checked with me to see if it was done right.
He even took down some dead branches. The results look great. It's frustrating that it took writing a review and all this time and back and forth headaches to get this done, but I do appreciate a company that is receptive to their customers and want to do the right thing. ---------------------- Original Review 5/14/19 Tree Service is a joke. I hired them to remove tree limbs from a few trees. Mike came over and seemed very knowledgeable and wrote very specific instructions on what limbs to cut.
I was very hopeful that this would turn out well. I got a call the day they were suppose to come. I called their office as I wouldn't be home the next day but they said that should be fine. When I got home I took a look and, not only did they cut the wrong limbs on 2 of the 3 trees I asked them to cut, they cut large limbs from the wrong tree!
Those limbs were giving some privacy so now I have to deal with that. I called them and Mike came down to review. No offer to refund any money, but did offer to plant some trees to help with privacy if I wish (though that was just a friendly handshake so we will see). Fine, I asked him to come back and cut the large limb from the correct tree. They came back, I went out and explained what limb to cut, then had to go to work.
I came back and STILL they didn't get it right. They cut some limbs but not the main limb I asked. Now this is getting ridiculous. So I called back and was even thinking I might just leave it as is so as to not need to deal with this anymore. After thinking about it a little I decided I should get what I payed for and get the correct limbs cut.
I reached out now about 3 or 4 times trying to get something scheduled to get that limb cyst as I had payed for. Now I get a call saying if I want it cut I will have to pay for the service! So to reiterate, they cut down a large limb from the wrong tree, they had to come twice to cut down the correct limbs from the 2nd tree, and they didn't cut the large limb I had asked them to cut origina

Wish I read reviews before hiring these rip offs! Paid close to $500 for my postage size lawn! Was quoted one price when sales person came out and then was sent an invoice at the end of the season with totally different price. Spoke to the rude woman in office who spoke to me like I was a child. Total rip off! Stay far away from this company.

My experience did not live up to the hype 1. Never rcvd feedback on soil samples, tho I was told I would 2. Never rcvd feedback on large dry patch back yard * 3. Never rcvd feedback on dry patches on side of house * 4. Had to spot treat lawn couple times w crabgrass/weed killer even after u applied the treatment *these were my main objectives and primary concerns and the only reason I contracted you in 1st place, and they were never addressed even tho I asked multiple times

After 3yrs with Seascape I am done with them. The 1st year was a homerun and everything great. Years 2-3 awful! The 2nd year the unskilled applicator burn my lawn with a liquid fertilizer (over mixed or did not rinse sprayer with herbicide) so bad they had to aerate & seed the lawn in the late spring. Because of this I had to deal with weeds all summer.
By fall it rebounded. The 3rd year, first visit the unskilled applicator dumped granular fert in numerous areas burning my lawn for the 2nd year in a row. I had to deal with the burn lawn all season long and more & more weeds showing up on the lawn. This fall they aerated/seeded to repair and did an awful job. They hire warm bodies to get work done and they are obviously poorly trained.
They show up in shorts/sneakers, no uniform, no protective equipment, etc. I told a supervisor about the issues and they do not seem to care. I will say their office staff is very good and responsive. They have a supervisor-management issue. Looking at all their reviews I see I am not alone, burning lawns seems pretty common when you hire them. It is not a question of IF but WHEN. That is poor training & limited skill applicators.

The worst, most unprofessional lawn care company out there. Defensive and rude person on the phone. Terrible terrible service that burnt our sod multiple times. They denied and refused to make it right. See attached photos. We have irrigation running 4 times a week and each time they come the lawn looks worse. They have burnt the lawn and there are weeds to boot. We have used other lawn care in the past with no issues, and it's not a particularly hot summer. If you value your lawn, please do not use them.

I was pretty happy with Seascape until they forgot one application that I pre paid for. When I asked them about it, they told me that they were running behind and would do it soon., November came and no Seascape application. When I asked about it again, they told me that the tech must have stopped by and could not perform it due to the leaves. I stated that they never contacted me (which they did prior to each application previously) and that the yard was kept clean. They apologized and stated to me that they would be refunding a portion of the prepayment. I am still waiting for that 5 months later. Not very good customer service.

I have been a long standing client with great results. However last season I had an issue with my lawn and I addressed it with them. The owner called me himself and assured me the problem would be corrected. I am very pleased to report that he was true to his word and I am happy to see my lawn in great shape again. Thank you Seascape, you have a very satisfied customer.

Had them do aeration and winter feeding oct/nov. Thought they did a decent job. Plenty of plugs and good aeration coverage. Came when said and able to email correspondence back and forth. Paid $455 for next year "platinum" treatment though plenty of other lower cost option do exist. I think they will solve my thatch problem with annual aeration and over seeding which is much of the cost. I got a 10% uri discount and a 8% early bird discount for 2013 service.
