He is an avid speaker, passionate about gardening and landscaping, and would love to share his years of knowledge and experience with you. Powers Landscaping winning is no real surprise, Scott Powers brings 25 years of experience to his landscaping efforts. This year's exhibit was well planned and well thought out. The copper-lighted statuary was a nice touch and the plants looked like they belonged in the exhibit, not as if they were just placed there.

Powers Landscaping at Whistling Cove is a picturesque facility set in the rolling hills of College Grove Tennessee. The founder, Scott Powers, began his early years in the family greenhouse business called "Harpeth Valley Hardware and The Greenhouse Emporium", located in nearby Franklin. It was during those years that Scott acquired a hands-on approach to what aesthetically completes a home - landscaping that appears to have been there for years, in other words, the art of naturalization.Many homes benefit tremendously from a well-planned landscape plan; financially as an asset for selling but more importantly, the tranquility and satisfaction each homeowner experiences from utilizing this type of service.
First thing we had to do was remove the Privet hedge along the Patio without tearing up the pavers. We slowly removed them carefully with my Kubota tractor front end loader and not a Skid steer which would have torn the yard up, as we removed the hedge along the patio we encountered a 4 inch drain pipe that came from under the patio.
We fertilized and aerated and overseeded the lawn last fall. We put a sprinkler system in the yard almost 20 years ago and they asked me about what we could do to enable them to water the garden they planted on the other side of a dry creek bed and we installed a quick Coupler that gave them ability to water with a garden hose the plantings in the garden.
