We are Maryland's first nationally accredited tree care company located in Woodbine, MD.
The Tree Care Industry Association is a 72-year-old public and professional resource on trees and arboriculture representing approximately 2,100 tree service and affiliated member companies. Tree and yard care can generate a large amount of waste. In the past, tree companies may have deposited this waste in landfills or on private land, but as space in landfills has become limited, government regulations on dumping have become more stringent, and the expense for dumping has increased, it has become prudent to find waste disposal methods that preserve resources and are environmentally friendly.

Mead Tree and Turf did an excellent job pruning a large row of Leyland Cypress trees bordering my property and opening a path curving along the trees to my patio. Like a NASCAR Pit Crew, they worked in sync to get the job done, clean-up, and address all my questions and concerns. Thank you Steve for coming out to discuss the health of my trees; recommend the best way to achieve my desired result; and, for expediting my request for service. My property looks much improved thanks to the efforts of you and your team.

Mead Tree and Turf just removed two dead trees from my front yard. They very carefully removed a lightning struck Bartlett Pear without damaging the surrounding collar of bushes and cut the stump flat with the ground. They also removed a dying Pin Oak, ground out the stump and surface roots, filled the hole with topsoil and spread seed and straw. Both the tree cutting team and the stump grinding team were very polite and professional and carefully cleaned the job site when completing the job. I will certainly use them for any future tree work.

Our 2 acre property has over 15 varieties of evergreen, hardwood and ornamental trees, most in the 25-30 year range. we've had mixed experiences with other tree trimming companies but are extremely happy with Mead. The first job they did for us 2 years ago was to relocate 8, 10ft arborvitaes which they carefully hand dug and moved, staked and measured out. the trees look like they were always there now 2 years later.
Nothing broken and all thriving. We liked them for their responsiveness and professional work ethic. We had them come back for a major fall trimming last year, and they did a great job technically trimming out tops and branch thinning and we saw the fruits of the work this spring with our 20+ year 9th yoshino cherries in full bloom with well Rounded canopies -- see pic. They have the tools, and technology to tackle tall trees with ease and did careful cleanups as well. Highly recommend them.

We needed 3 trees on a property line trimmed back so as not touching our roofs and we were able to see the sun and not have sticks and branches everytime the wind blew. They came and did a wonderful job. Very professional, fast and efficient. Watching them work and handle the limbs in such a small space was like watching a well oiled machine. We couldn't be happier with their work!

Friendly, helpful, and professional! A 50+ foot black locust broke at the root during a wind storm in downtown Frederick. The tree was hard to reach and intertwined with power, cable, and phone lines! Mead dealt with the access issues and took down the rest of the tree safely and competently. Then they came back to deal with the remaining stump which was difficult to extract because it grown up around metal fencing and heavy metal support bars! Very pleased.

They earned the contract to trim common area trees in Montgomery Village. They have been extremely courteous, requesting cars to be relocated so that they do not damage any. As you may know, When the guy in the cherry picker cuts a limb, it can hit other branches on the way down and journey not just straight. The 3 guys who have been working in our neighborhood for several weeks will stop cutting if you are out on a walk and need to pass, rake up debris and blow saw dust to leave an area they have worked in looking better than when they arrived. I will consider them for maintenance of other trees on my property.

Very unprofessional and change prices on the estimated proposal. The first price was reasonable then increase 2.25x on second estimate proposal. Bad management, and lousy communicate. Sneaky showed up at my house without communicate. Not worth to your time to hire them. There is a guy named Steve is very rude.
