Fresh cut healthy, thick, lush green sod. Great staff and great attitudes. Experience could not have been more different than dealing with the Mulch-X guys in Friendswood.

Great staff! I had an issue with my bill but Bo was very patient and explained the problem. My installer had made a mistake. I called later to ask about how to keep the used grass and a nice young lady was very informative. GREAT!

Great experience working with this company! Wonderful crew, responsive staff and overall terrific experience! Very professional and did a great job of cleaning up after old sod was removed and new sod installed. Grass looks fantastic! Couldn't be more pleased!

Had previous issue with grass turning brown after installing but the owner, Michael himself reached out and was really nice, apologetic and was willing to work with us to replace out the dead sod. He assigned a different contractor (Omar) to come out and re-do the grass, who was very easy to work with. Thank you Houston grass for standing behind your work and making things right! You have won back our trust and business again.

I once had grass delivered to my house by the owner. He did a good job. I also ordered grass over the phone, and the rep. gave me accurate information about the availability, delivery, and prices on the different types of grasses. She was patient, courteous, and helpful. The St. Augustine grass is affordable and good, but it requires too much water after installation. Keep up the great service! Thank you!

We were hesitant to plant grass in the winter following the installation of our pool. We were not sure if the grass would take given the cold environment. We are thrilled to have a beautiful green and lush lawn. In fact, the grass looks better than the original. Omar and team are true professionals.

Grass is looking great. We had one pallet of emerald zoysia delivered to fill our town home yard and it has established very nicely, even with three dogs! The section where the dogs don't go has immaculate, deep green, and healthy grass. The section with dog traffic takes more maintenance and we had trouble with brown spots; but after a follow up call to Houston Grass, an application of fertilizer, and some other dog specific treatments, even this heavy traffic area is on track to look fabulous!

After building our first home we needed to find a good company to help us sod our large backyard. After heavy rain a lot of the sand had washed away so we needed someone who could also help us with some grade work and evening out dips and low spots. I called three companies to compare price and services and was immediately impressed with HGS. Anderson came to our home the afternoon of my initial telephone call to walk my back yard and talk to me about the grading and weed control and their services.

They delivered extra sand to even out our entire yard and add more support around the fence line. They delivered bright green, very healthy grass and completed the entire install in one day and Anderson called me to give frequent status updates throughout the project since i couldn't be present. About a week after installation i had a concern about a small section that was starting to brown and Anderson came over same day as my call to inspect the grass and talk me through its care. Customer service at its finest! Highly recommend HGS.

Great service and Great Product! As you can see from our before and after pictures. This is just 10 days after laying the sod. Imagine the look after it takes root. This is Palmetto grass that was recommended for slightly shaded areas. It has been years since we have had a beautiful yard and it makes us feel much better about our home.

Picked up about 20 pieces of St. Augustine grass here to fill where prior owner had a storage shed. Quality of the grass sold here was far superior to the pieces bought at Houston Garden Center. Also an employee helped me load the car saving me a lot of time and energy. This will definitely be a go-to spot. Doubt anywhere in Houston tops the quality of grass sold here.
