Geist Nursery

The staff here are absolutely wonderful! Even though it was super rainy and we are totally clueless about plants, all the staff we interacted with were really patient, helpful, and friendly. They really made our garden care accessible! We also really love that they hosted the Native Plants sale. What a great way to support more sustainable and ecosystem-friendly plants. Plus they were very educational on what worked well for what purposes and in what sort of spaces. Definitely will be going back!

Wow! I know there are always two sides to a story. But today I spoke with the owner, Fred, who returned my call about getting a tree replaced. I had sent him a note with a photo of the tree that was damaged and since removed. I said I wanted to discuss options to replace and asked about getting something the same size. He said that was an estimate of $150 dollars and hung up.

In my email I mentioned I wanted to discuss other landscaping options too. The bottom line: I'm glad I did not use these folks based on the rude response. Maybe he had other issues going on. But still no way to treat a customer. I asked for a callback, but did not receive it. So, I left this review and have done so on other sites too.

I was sold two bobo hydrangeas last season and neither one of them bloomed after one season. When I reached out to the nursery, I was told they would not be able to do anything with them. Also they were just rude about the whole thing when I was just trying to understand how I could fix it.

Pretty good selection and very friendly staff. Took a while for someone to come find me to answer my questions, but I think that's just because they're a small operation with few employees. I recommend them!

Cutest nursery with amazing and beautiful selection of shrubs, bushes and flowers. Great selection of sizes. Knowledgable, caring staff! Tucked away little oasis. The gentleman who helped me was so nice and patient. So glad I came here. We've gotta support the mom and pop small business over the big box stores! I'm glad I came, I'm glad I found what I wanted.

If you're half a mile around this nursery its worth a visit, they said they can't install a tree that i was going to pay $600(350 for tree and rest for installation) in Westfield, all these still secondary to me, first thing he came to me with super angry attitude maybe because the color of my skin, second I called a day before and spoke with owners wife about the same so I don't waste my time, she was on board with everything except we didn't discuss where to install, very sad experience

Such a gem of a nursery! I Have come here for several years and have always found the staff to be very friendly and highly knowledgeable. Also, over to one side there is a native plant nursery that is open at the beginning of the year. They are a separate business so be prepared to pay separately if you do buy from them. It is a wonderful little service of you're intrested in native Indiana plants.

I called Geist to have mulch delivered and layed and they were able to do it right away. Everyone was so nice on the phone and they were quick to respond to emails. I called during their busiest season and still they were able to do it so quickly.

Having lived on 4 acres for the past 13 yrs, we have had our fair share of landscape and tree work. Just had 7 trees planted and $1,500 of landscape (retaining wall/water run off) work done by Geist Nursery. My husband and I could not believe the outstanding work that they did! Seriously, we are not easily impressed and we agree that we would equate Geist Nursery as comparable to the Ritz Carlton in service results. Workers on time, management on site, PERFECT circles around the trees, fresh/abundant mulch, watered!, spotless clean up!

And they approached and completed the landscape job as if it were a $10K job instead of a measly $1,500. Seriously great business ethics, service, and leadership going on at Geist Nursery! We are sold out now as to the being OUR NURSERY AND LANDSCAPER.

I love this nursery and garden center! It is a family owned and run business with fantastic customer service. The layout is charming, and they have a little gift shop filled with awesome goodies - Perfect for unique and unexpected gifts.

It may not be the largest nursery, but it was the happiest, most helpful staff. Prices are very reasonable. I will go here first from now on for my planting needs.
