2020 was our 2nd year going to this tree farm, last year being the first. I really like the location, the trees and the people who run the farm. I'm not sure we will be going back, though. The equipment to shake the tree and to drill the holes in the bottom of the tree don't do a good job. Both years, we've brought the tree home and expected to drop it in our tree stand that has the spike in the bottom.
Both years it hasn't gone in all the way and has been crooked. I have to try to hand drill out the rest of the hole and then it never fits right. That's frustrating to deal with on a $52 tree. If that equipment was updated, so that a drilled tree actually fit in a spiked tree stand, that would make all the difference. If you don't need a drilled tree, it's a really nice location to get a tree. If you need or rely on the drilled trees for your tree stand, you might be better off finding a place with better equipment to do it.
