All Island Landscape

This company has the absolute worst possible customer service. Despite being a major customer when we put in our pool some years ago, they won't show up to do any new work, won't return phone calls, and they get all pissy if you question their service. The woman in the office gets very defensive. As others have said, you may get a quick quote but they will never show up to do the work. Note that as of the time of this review, 100% of their reviews are 1 star! They don't even care!

We have been working with All Island for 10 years. I have nothing but great things to say about there top notch communication. Byran is a pleasure to work with and his team is the best in the business!

All Island Landscape could not be less considerate or professional. They seem oblivious to why people move to our area, operating the loudest equipment of any of landscaping people who work in our neighborhood, on occasion starting before the 7:00AM Portsmouth Article 4, noise ordinance permits. They give the impression they go out of their way and enjoy being as loud and obnoxious as possible while going about their business. Seriously, take note of how loud their lawn cutting equipment is compared to most others and you'll know why we dread them servicing and firing up their equipment in our neighborhood during the early morning hours.

If you like shoddy edging, misogynism, mulching that 5 year olds do, lawn care that's awful, and sexist workers, All Island is your place of business. Hey Landscapers! Stop catcalling other women! Do not be THAT company! Talk to your workers.

Avoid By All Means They've been destroying our property on a bi weekly basis. Last week, they couldn't enter our driveway because, "our car was in the way, " was their reason, so instead of simply parking and asking us to move our car like intelligent people, they drove away and never showed. This week, today, mowing our lawn, they decided to continue to fail at the easiest job.

I watched the weedwacker the entire time, wherever place he touched, he either create divots or whacked TOO short and left the grass yellow or just completed mauled. Everywhere in our property, every edge, either has dead grass as a result over time, or has divots and yellow pulled grass -- as if he was only using one hand. I watched this same man using the weedwacker, attempt to use a leaf blower, and he simply walked into one section of our property talking on the phone, blew mulch and cut grass on our patio, then walked out. They're destroying our lawn and they don't even care

The lady in the office is a total bitch, I called because all island hit my mailbox and totally realized it and drove away. My girlfriend had called into the office and was treated poorly. I called and the same thing happened basically the woman was trying to deny that it happened. All I have to say is for a company that big this is extremely Unprofessional! The lady in the office literally told me to call the police rather than just fix my fucking mailbox

I had them come clean out the area behind the garage, under the kitchen windows, also clean up my overgrown patio, take down a dead lilac brush. They came around 8:30am and they did a very good job and only charged $600.00 for the whole thing.

Would recommend these people to all. Did a great job with putting top soil and hydro seeding yard.

Called to set up an appointment for them to give me a quote on rebuilding my front steps, they were a no show. Unacceptable

They sure were quick to come out to gave an estimate on my rebuilding my front steps back in October. It is March now, haven't heard from them.

All Island Landscape was contracted to do spring clean up and landscape services ranging from restoration, improving, maintaining landscape including grass, shrubs and trees. Their service was absolutely lowest quality you can find anywhere. Dishonest, disrespectful, superficial and destructive work left our landscape look like a mess, far worse than we started with.

Following their spring clean up I took photos of their work showing wild animal feces on the pool apron, dead leaves were piled up on the pool cover, and many more. Then I went to work on it and did the job the way it should have been done. They charged me on things they did not do. When confronted they deny any wrong doing. They should be banned from conducting business because they are a fraud!

ALL Island Landscape (AIL) wins my award as the VERY WORST landscape and stone work company ever. In 2010, my father, a savvy 86 year old, contacted this company in order to give them business for a driveway wall rebuild. The project was simple and straightforward. My father asked me to assist with the selection of a company to complete the project.

I reviewed the details of the estimate visit, and contract presented by the (AIL) representative. My father gave (AIL) a $600 pre-paid deposit, and a date was set to begin the work. (AIL) was a no-show, with no phone call on the agreed upon start date, leaving myself, and my 86 year old father in the dark. I called (AIL) to ask why they were not on the job on the date promised, and why there was no phone call placed to let us know that the job would not be starting as scheduled.

When the job did start, several weeks after the agreed start date, the work, was slow, shoddy and unprofessional, (AIL) also ran out of promised materials causing further delay. Cap stones for the driveway wall were not sealed properly and actually fell off when I inspected the job after supposed completion. (AIL) was very confrontational when I asked that shoddy work be corrected.

My review of (AIL) from dealing directly with them: Dishonest, disorganized, unprofessional, rude, general public and senior citizens beware. ALL Island Landscape talks a good game, yet fails to deliver on any level. Look elsewhere.

Service is awful.not true to their gaurantee for landscaping and stone work.over 60 000$ of work in barrington and would be willing to show you the poor workmanship.unable to speak to the owner.rude office staff.look to atwood or seascape.all island is unprofessional in all aspects of landscaping and landscaping design.don't work with josh!

I am so disgusted about how this company has dealt with us. So unprofessional. They damaged our driveway with one of their trucks leaving a large hole. It took weeks to set up for the owner Byron to come and have a look and then 'he' doesn't even show up. We have 2 young kids and this hole is an ankle breaker. They then had the nerve to say 'Due to the failure of your driveway we are not able to cover any of the cost. I'd like to point out that maybe if our driveway was buckled, old, cracked and in bad shape we would of shrugged our shoulders and said ok but this is not the case. Really disappointed and shocked that this is the way a local company deal with its loyal customers.

I have known Byron and Gina Rymer for many years now and have done business with All Island Landscape on multiple times for landscape and tree service issues. Byron and Gina and their employees are personable, professional and very good at what they do. I always recommend All Island to both family and friends. All of which are now regular All Island customers and are always pleased with the services and support provided. You will be pleased to do business with All Island Landscape.

Excellent company to do business with. I have used them for both personal and work related projects. If you cant make it to there professional materials yard they will have the material deliver to your job site quickly and more importantly to me dumped exactly where you requested. much to my surprise I actually received a call from the driver just to be sure he was dumping it the correct location.

After $70,000+ of landscape work, all of the top steps at each landing sank. Although Byron (owner) said that he would take care of any work quality issues, I still received a $200+ bill for the fix. Said he was already "very generous" with this job; hence the bill. All his previous callbacks were to "generously" fix his workers' shoddy workmanship.

On one callback to fix an uneven area on a paver patio, his worker left cigarette butts everywhere and left my new patio furniture smelling of smoke. Another worker used MY grill cover to protect another uneven area of pavers he fixed when it started to rain. Different "crew" seal coated my patio without hosing it down first; basically sealed in dirt, sand, and even leaves that lasted for two years. Owner talks a great salesman talk but is too cheap to hire quality workers to perform the quality work he promises. Look elsewhere.

Contacted the company for a quote on a big yard job. Landscaper was friendly and arrived in time for our appointment. He said I'd have quote at the end is the day. It's 4 days later and no call from him. I have called the office 3 times- each conversation ending with a, " I'll get an answer and call you back." No one has called me back. Horrible service. They are not worth the "RI's Best" label.

I called and they basically told me to go away. I live in a very nice neighborhood and my neighbor uses All Island. He recommended I call as they could do both our properties at the same time. I have another neighbor interested as well. The lady answered and basically said that for the little work we need she wasn't interested. Never took my name, no questions, said they just had "too much work".

Sorry All Island - will be sure to tell all my neighbors you are too busy for us, and to go somewhere else! Crazy company's feel they can shun customers when so many need jobs.and treat people so badly because we are not Carnegy Abbey.
