The word "grub" even sounds distasteful, and it's no surprise that the little lawn pests called grubs have become lawn enemy #1. Feeding activity of grubs hits its peak in fall and spring. Spring is the perfect time for preventive treatment. Beetles, particularly European Chafer and Japanese Beetles, will be laying their eggs in your grass during the late summer and fall.
Even the most beautiful lawn is likely to have weeds appear at some point. Keeping a lawn "weed-free" takes more than just having a couple of treatments each year. Jeremy and the crew at Green Thumb are absolutely the best. They call me before every treatment to let me know what they are planning on doing, and to see if I have any questions. They also evaluate the lawn when they arrive and actually take the time to see if the service is needed before simply applying an application just to make a buck! They are honest, extremely well versed and professional in every way. I have been very pleased with the service the Green Thumb Lawn Service provides at my home. Having a well maintained lawn that is healthy and green means a lot. This is my first year using Green Thumb Lawn Services and I couldn't be happier. The billing is effortless. The technicians are amazing. They talk me through the problems they see with my lawn during each visit. In just this first year they transformed my lawn from a thin ugly weed filled lawn to a thick lush dark green beauty. If you listen to their recommendations and cut your grass high you will get great results. Their price is very reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommended them. It's well worth it.

For the last 7 years I have done my own weed and feed with results that were lack luster. This year the grubs got me and my lawn was in shambles. Un-named grub killers purchased at the local hardware store couldn't touch the damage that was done. I was at the home show this spring and talked to Jeremy about my yard. They quoted me for the seasons work which included grub control and a 5 step weed and seed program.
The price was MORE than reasonable and the results were MORE than expected from the first season using them. At my request, they always call before showing up, which is AWESOME. It seems like no matter who I talk to they are kind, courteous and VERY knowledgeable!
