Lucas Tree Experts

A neighbor of mine used this company to take a rather large tree down that was beginning to lean toward his house/garage area. The men that came to complete the job literally brought lawn chairs and sat in his yard for hours! Lawn chairs! They left the base of the tree on top of stump, and debris all over the street to the point that we assumed they were coming back to finish clean up.

It has been over a week so I assume this is how they left the job. And mind you this is A WEEK later, after most of the big peices were already moved by neighbors and the wind. What a lazy group of men and terrible work ethic. I feel sorry for my neighbor having spent what I assume is thousands on such a hack job.

Thank you for coming onto my property without my permission and disturbing my tree. I appreciate you forwarding the voicemail I left you to CMP for them to handle. To be clear, I did not consent to you coming onto my property and cutting parts of my tree down and expressed this when you asked to cut half of my tree down. Unprofessional and unethical. Will be reporting to BBB.

Dangerous and incompetent. My neighbor hired Lucas tree. Without so much as a courtesy knock on the door, they dropped a dozen trees over the fence and into my yard. They flattened my trees and bushes. They seemed shocked when we asked that they clean up the mess. Dropping large trunks into the neighbors yard without any warning? Someone could've been killed. One person was injured. This company is a hazard to the welfare of the community and should be shut down. Job supervisor "Matt Plumber" and Damon was on site.

A truck from this company ripped the wires out of my house and did not stop to inform the homeowner or tell the kids that were playing in the area to stay away from the downed wires. They just pulled the wires off the bucked, threw them in the street and drove away. They even saw me walking over to them but drove off rather quickly. The wires were still energized from the pole! Terribly unprofessional! I understand accidents happen, but to just drive off and leave a live wire, when they see children riding bikes and a homeowner walking to them is just pathetic!

Terrible company, had use cut down / trim trees That were not even permission to be cut down or touched at all, Ben Davis is a joke! Got in my face on one occasion in which I have on video! And a separate video of him claiming the way he went about it was " professional " me telling him to back up out of my personal space bc he thinks this is the marines or some BS, company loves to overwork their employees and always willing to bring on Temp workers, which is a joke just hire the people!

We have a home in Guilford CT. Recently a tropical storm struck and we had dramatic tree damage. The crew from Lucas was FANTASTIC. They were professional, efficient, and courteous. They even saw a broken wire that THREE Eversourse representatives missed. We were extremely pleased with this company and crew and highly rate it.

We had a huge @#$%@# tree and they were freaken artist on that @#$%&*?. Carved out a naked women, I mean I love it and stare at it for hours daily but come on I hired you guys to cut down the damn tree. Do your job, that being said, fantastic job.

Marty was very helpful and responsive when we discovered browntail moths in our backyard. I was in a panic because everyone was booked up - including Lucas Tree; but he was willing to help. In the end, I found someone from out of town with availability to spray and Marty still let me run their proposed protocol by him and he assured me it was safe and effective. They are honest and genuinely seem to want to help folks out. I will definitely be using this company in the future!

These guys have been working outside my house for two months (TWO MONTHS!) now. They came in July saying they were going to remove two large trees from my front lawn. They said it would take two days. They've been working on and off, like I said, for two months. They show up unannounced and, every time they do, I have to run out and move my cars. They block my driveway for hours (sometimes all day) and, most of the time, barely get anything done at all.

They'll shave a few branches off and call it a day. One day, after taking their lunch break, they came back and TALKED for hours until going home for the evening around 4:30. They literally did nothing but stand around their trucks and chat. Meanwhile, the two large trees are still standing. Be nice if they finished this job sometime this century.

Do not hire these people what ever you do. They cut down trees growing in your yard and perfectly healthy trees not even grown or anywhere near the road. They actually hopped over the ditch and started cutting trees no bigger than me at the edge of my yard. After complaining they were at the edge of my yard laughing. The most unprofessional company I have ever seen.
