Would leave 0 stars if I could. I took my grandmother there on recommendation from my brother, a horticulture major who'd regularly gone there over the past several years. My grandmother bought multiple pots there with assistance from their staff, along with several other things. After she'd had the pots only a few months, all of the pots were visibly cracked and crumbling so my grandmother asked me to contact Horticultural Services for her.
When I explained what happened, I was treated rudely over the phone and told that it was our fault the pots were falling apart, our fault for purchasing them, and our fault for not reading the fine print (there was no fine print on the pots). The staff then asked irrelevant, offensive personal questions (that had nothing to do with the pots - completely derailed the conversation), and the call ended.
My brother went to speak with them in person to try to resolve this amicably. That same person rolled her eyes continuously at him. She then told him that everyone in the Horticultural Club at Kansas State University doesn't know what they're talking about and she didn't have time to listen to him. We're all very disappointed with our experience there: the fact that they took advantage of a senior person, the complete lack of customer service & professionalism, and at the lack of support for the university students & programs. We were trying to support a local business.

Wide selection of plants. All their plants looked very healthy and well maintained. The store and greenhouse were very clean and the staff was super friendly. My wife and I even met a couple that drove 70 miles just to purchase plants from them. The couple said it is the best greenhouse around. We purchased a beautiful hanging basket of petunias that smell wonderful for only $36! We will definitely be purchasing more from them.
