Miller Creek Lawn and Landscape solved multiple landscape and home challenges created by decades-long neglect and recent construction of a garage and an addition that changed the hydrology of our lot. Expert, they completed all tasks and exceeded our expectations for solving the problems we identified in a timely and efficient manner. The design process started by Miller Creek listening to us and walking-the-ground to create a written design which became the template for further discussion and with changes became the blueprint for an itemized plan of action and contract.

Their process teed-up questions addressing long-term maintenance, planting choices, and prioritizing stages. Their plan was a coherent and fiscally prudent response to address the immediate needs and lay the hardscape foundation for future projects. Miller Creek was the third landscape service we worked with in Duluth. They were by far the most organized, the most insightful with considerations for sustainability, suitability, and budget. We plan to continue working with Miller Creek as we find additional projects.

We have worked with Troy at Miller Creek on two projects. He helped design a patio, bridge, and landscaping design that turned out great. We were so pleased that we followed up with a second project which included the front sidewalk and driveway with the same brick pattern. Again, it turned out fabulous. Troy and his crew were great to work with on these projects. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering a landscaping project.

About 20 years ago Kent Worley, Duluth Lakewalk landscape architect, designed the lush corner landscape of our Congdon Park home with treed berm, stream and pond, circular paver patio and planting beds. This summer I hired Miller Creek Land and Landscape to assist with a "freshing" of the hardscaping and planting beds. They reset several areas of pavers and revitalized the planting beds in front of the house along with those in other areas. Trish Crego, RLA was a joy to work with- great ideas, very professional and good communication. The work crew was very efficient and did a great job! I would recommend to anyone needing professional landscaping service.

Miller Creek is full of awesome people! They are extremely professional and offer amazing quality plants/shrubs/trees. They are super creative and came up with several options for landscaping ideas on our property. The money spent is completely worth it!

Our project involved landscape redesign, remodel and an outdoor kitchen addition. The goal was to satisfy my design vision by utilizing existing healthy plant product and the addition of low maintenance and zone appropriate plantings that complimented our home. Miller Creek was a "creative designer" who did not loose sight of project goals and enjoyed the process of carefully sourcing traditional and newer plant specimens.

They were responsive to our concerns of cost and our desire for creative redesign. At times, I felt adjustments needed to be made "in the field" rather than on paper, and Troy Grohsman was comfortable with this. The installation/planting crew rated high in professionalism, planting knowledge, productivity, and organization. They left the site clean at the end of each work day, and were considerate of neighboring property, Budgeting was effective.

Some struggles with timelines, but mostly weather related. I enjoyed fall and winter interest! I will be excited to enjoy garden maturity as it progresses. YES - I would recommend Miller Creek Lawn & Landscape!. Read Less

We highly recommend Miller Creek for landscaping design and installation services. They finished phase 2 of our landscaping plan in August 2019 and we couldn't be happier. Their design expertise and careful installation of the plants, boulders, edging and flagstone are topnotch! And although most of our trees and plants survived (from the first phase), they were quick to replace the couple that didn't make it through the first year. Yes! We would most definitely use Miller Creek for future landscaping projects.

We've used Miller Creek for nearly three decades and have spent well into six figures with them. They've done complete landscaping jobs for two houses we built and have maintained our properties. Their paver work is superlative. Highest quality work you will find for planting trees and shrubs. If you're looking for lowest priced landscaping company, you may be able to find a bargain provider. But Troy stands behind his work and his materials and truly is the best in the business. If you want professional results, hire Miller Creek.

Had them come out to give an estimate on sod for a new lawn. Had two others from great companies in the area as well. Miller Creek was $10,000+ and the rest were around $3500. Then 3 months later they sent me a $100 invoice for getting the estimate done! Who charges for estimates and doesn't communicate that their will be a charge to the customer?

When I called to dispute it the phone went to voice mail for multiple days. Once I did get ahold of someone they said it was a mistake? Im guessing they send the bill out and hope you just pay it without question. Needless to say we didn't go with this company and I can not suggest it to anyone.

This is a great company. we had them plant a couple trees and supply us some rose bushes. the trees they panted are doing great the staked them up straight and mulched them. (VERY PROFESSIONAL). The rose bushes we planted our selves and they dyed first year. They did give us new ones and they are doing good now after they assisted us. Use this company and you will be satisfied. let them do they planting they know what they are doing.
