***update*** I was contacted and made and offer to help offset the experience I had. I agreed to have them come trim my fruit trees. Once it was settled on I never heard from them again to complete the work. I didn't trust them before. I can't be shocked they disappointed me yet again*** I will NEVER use the company again. Not so long ago I would have rated them a 5.

Office staff was friendly and the value was great. HOWEVER the office staff has changed as have their services. I have always used them for pre emergent for my weeds. It had a 6 month warranty. This is NO longer the case. I had my yard sprayed in December and 2 months later my weeds are back and they want to bill me $75 for the "clean up" not even the pre emergent service.

I am now doing my business with southwest ground control who does warranty their services at an affordable cost because they back the value of the service they provide. So your homework - this is NOT the company you want servicing your yard

The Yard Experts are the absolute best. I have used them for several years now. The owner of the company is a great guy. He has come to our house/property many times so I can explain what we need done. We have a large property and many different trees and bushes. I use them for weekly maintenance and to do very large jobs. I have had them rebuild a berm (we irrigate) that was destroyed by gophers. These guys are great! If you miss something (not likely!) they will return and take care of it. I highly recommend The Yard Experts!

I have hired Yard Experts for all of my properties in Mesa and Tempe for ongoing maintenance for past several years. Consistent quality and timely service. I highly recommend. Services: Weed control, Yard work

Workers broke my sewer clean out in the yard and didn't notify me. The rocks from the yard have fallen into the hole now causing my drains to back up.

I signed the estimate. I was not scheduled for service. I was advised that I would be scheduled for service after signing estimate. My Response to YE response: I called several times. Each time I was told that I would be scheduled soon. After I posted this review I received a call advising that the new associate didn't establish that Yard Experts don't service my area. I will change the rating to a 2 since someone finally followed up to let me that I would not be scheduled.

I am so pleased with the work The Yard Experts did! Not only did they do the work requested, but they went above and beyond. I look forward to working with them on future projects and would recommend them to anyone! Service: Garden tidy-up

I've been using The Yard Experts since 2015. They've removed my Ruellia in 2015 and since then, they've removed a Lantana root ball. This year, I needed my irrigation timer replaced and they replaced it, and I've had no issues since. This year I also had a dead Purple Leaf Plum tree and a couple of old Lantanas that I needed replaced. They removed those and installed 6 more Lantanas and a Dark Pink Oleander Tree.

I can't wait until they bloom with all the nice colors. Everything was installed professionally and timely. I even offered the workers bottles of water due to the late spring heat. Hopefully, next year I'll be able to have them come back and install irrigation for my backyard grass area. They're AWESOME!

I usually don't leave reviews. But I felt compelled to let the public know what an amazing company Yard Experts is. From start to finish they have taking care of me. I have been with them a long time now. And am always happy with the outcome of a project. As a Marine, I love attention to detail and this team has it. Always professional friendly I wouldn't trust anyone els. Thanks Yard Experts!

We couldn't be happier with The Yard Experts! Excellent customer service from the office staff and the crews do an awesome job on property. They show up when scheduled and get the job done timely. Wow. Fast and friendly. It even cost less than quoted. The two guys that came were amazing. I will be using them again that's for sure. If you are thinking about Tham I recommend them. The online quote was great so I knew before they even showed that they fit in my budget.

They were good until they broke my $2000 water feature. They replaced a $2.00 plastic float, but the concrete base was broken, and the owner wouldn't come out and look at it. I had to have it fixed myself on a seniors fixed income. I had to drop them, as they didn't seem to care.

Warning to anyone who may be considering this company. Please get clarification when you get a quote from them. Due to confusing wording on the estimate, I was under the impression that I was going to have my yard maintained at a cost of $45/hour for a crew of 3. I didn't realize that the cost was actually per person, so I ended up paying $137 for just one visit! It's quite upsetting because every other quote I received was for $50-$60 TOTAL per visit and also included a crew, so what I thought was going to be a better deal ended up not being a deal at all!

I was all for 5 stars on this company THEN we receive an email rates going up from $70 to $90 per month in 2019. We have 1 bush in the front yard they trim, last visit was not needed. The others they are supposed to do Spring well we never got to that, rate increase cannot afford. Backyard has minimal shrubs we have a pool. The company say's they are here over the time allowed.

Good grief 40 mins last few visit, yes I do watch them take photos on their I Pads off before and after and know when they arrive and leave. I am sad this company had to result to such drastic rise in their prices. The people that worked on our yard were respectful and did a great job unfortunately not worth the extra $260 a year, that is a lot when you are retired

Our 2nd monthly front and back yard maintenance service was completed on 08/21/2018. The "dynamic duo", Kaleb and Mike, did an excellent job. It was the best yard care that we have ever had. We thought that our first service was good but these guys exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect, including leaving our in-ground pool as they found it - no debris.

The team was willing to do extra work (remove a small bush/tree). They also found a leak that we would never of discovered due to the location. Again, they were more than happy to fix the problem for us. Great customer service. We have been very impressed by the company as a whole. Very well run, very professional, and their customer service is excellent.

I hired The Yard Experts to replenish some gravel in my yard and install a winter lawn. I instructed them to use gravel that was identical to the one we already have. The gravel they installed was much bigger and of a different color and it does not match the exterior paint on our house. I called them back and asked that they replace the gravel with the proper one, but they responded that they wouldn't because this was the gravel we had agreed upon.

They did refund the cost of the labor for the gravel replenishment, but it will now cost me 5-7 times as much to replace the gravel. I do not recommend this landscaper. If you do decide to hire them for any type of gravel installation or replenishment, make sure you're getting the gravel you want or buy it yourself. But really, there are much more experienced and better landscapers out there, so just pick another one.

Yard Experts is exceptional--by far the best at what they do. We switched from a different service about six months ago, and it has turned out to be a huge upgrade. Jorge, Richard, and Hugo were the guys that have done most of our work, which includes regular trimming and cleanup, and most recently they reset some pavers that had settled unevenly over time. We are extremely pleased with their quality and professionalism.

Punctual and professional, I would be completely satisfied if that was all we received. However, both my husband and mother had contact with the crew (Gilberto, Miguel & Hugo) and they exceeded our expectations. Both interactions were pleasant and the crew was very receptive to my mother's request and was quick to inform us of an irrigation leak that we had. All of the crew were very polite and left our yard looking great. I would recommend them to anyone in the Florence/San Tan area.

This company is wonderful, and very dependable. I call them up Alex comes by and I have a quote for the yard. They are very professional and licensed. I am looking forward to doing future business with them.

The Yard Experts have been doing my yard for a few years. I have not always been really happy, but there recent job takes the cake. I asked them to trim a vine I had growing in my side yard as it had grown outside the area I wanted it. Instead, they chopped in half. They left it looking like a sorry mess. I was supposed to be called back after the supervisor talked to the crew, but they didn't call me back. They won't be doing any more work on my yard.

I requested an estimate on their website and I was contacted the next business day. Everyone I worked with through scheduling, estimate, and sod installation was professional, prompt and friendly. The work was exactly as ordered, and price was competitive. The workers assured me that someone would be by in a few weeks to check on growth. We've never hired landscapers before, but I would hire The Yard Experts again.

We had a great experience with The Yard Experts! They removed a peach tree from our backyard perfectly. You can't even tell that it was there to begin with! We also needed more done with our tree pruning and they were very accommodating. They came back out the next week and finished it up for us! Not only did they do a great job, but their customer service was excellent. Jennifer is wonderful to work with. Thank you!

My previous rating was based on not receiving return calls from an employee. Since that review the office manager, Jennifer, has reached out to me and has done what she can to resolve this issue. She has corresponded with me multiple times and has very expeditiously emailed the proposals for my review. I am updating my review to reflect my most current experience with the company, and not the individual who didn't return my calls.

I was not impressed with this company, several times they put flyers on my door looking for work. I called them, and told them exactly what I wanted done, and that I would like a quote. They came back with an outrageous quote, and added lots of extra things on that I did not ask them to do, such as spraying chemicals in my yard. When I told them, no, I only what specific items done, not a bunch of things I can do myself, they came back and told me they were to busy to do my yard.

So if you do not let them do at least $250, worth of work, don't expect them to do anything. They will tell you they have no time for you. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this company!

Fantastic company, They came out and landscaped and cleaned up the property at the Lighthouse UPC Church we attend and everyone loves how the grounds look now. Thank you TYE!

ZERO STARS! WORST COMPANY. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. They did the clean up which costs $275, it was nice work. The crew was attentive to detail, that was in January. DOWNHILL FROM THERE! Unfortunately, 8 employees quit due to issues with management about 2 months ago. That's when everything changed. The new crew barely cleaned up. I was constantly having to point out stuff they had missed.

They even stated to me at one point when I pointed out weeds that they don't pull weeds. What? I called the office to complain and they said it would be taken care of. But, then things got worse. Their crew chief Chucky, was so rude. I mentioned to him again they needed to take care of weeds and he gave me such an attitude. I finally had to call Alex out to show him the problem.

He said he talked to the crew chief and he was having personal problems. I'm a empathetic person but what does that have to do with it? I complained they were smoking in my front yard, weren't cleaning up between bushes and refused to pull weeds. Today was the final straw when one of there guys put his dirty boots in our pool. I kicked them out and called the office to complain.

The manager made it seem like it was no big deal. I mentioned to her about the bad reviews on YELP lately and she didn't seem to care. She stated she would talk to the supervisor and call back. I already found another company. Really, no big deal? Good, FIRED! I'll give my money to a company that takes care of their customers! When they finally called back, of course they decided to waive today but no longer wanted to come back. Finally, we agree on something.

They do great work when they actually do it. Used them for a cleanup and then started maintenance after being impressed with their work. They skipped touching our yard during one scheduled maintenance, presumably because it already looked fine but we noticed. When bringing this up, they stated they had definitely done the work because their GPS showed them there.

They sent a QA person out to check who confirmed the yard was done because of all the dye in our yard - only problem being there was none. After further discussion, we actually met with their QA person who stated if they were to have done the maintenance they obviously didn't do much at all. Rather than making it right and comping the next maintenance they decided that half off the next service was the only thing they could do. Wouldn't even send someone out to spray.

Left us the choice of paying 150% for one maintenance or cancel without any compensation. Terrible customer service, much better service with a more reasonable price out there. Pass on these guys.

We have used them a couple of times and they do fine work. The huge problem is there a time frame. It took two weeks to get on the schedule for them to come give us a quote for what we were wanting done. Then once we signed off on the estimate we were scheduled out 4 weeks till they were able to start the work. This was a total of 6 weeks just to see anything get done.

Like I said, The job they do is fine but not worth that long of a wait when there are plenty of other landscaping companies that can do a nice job being able to schedule in half the time!

We found their flyer tucked into our grill in the backyard and it was locked which leads me to believe that they trespassed into our backyard to put it there. Shame on you. How desperate are you for business? No one should hire them. Hire a professional company with integrity instead.

This is the second time we have used the Yard Experts. They are always very professional to deal with and prompt with scheduling. The crew that did our yard clean up did a great job and even went above and beyond to cut a high tree branch that the HOA should have done for us. Will definitely use them for our future landscape needs.

My husband and I bought a new home in San Tan Valley and The Yard Experts came recommended by a co-worker. We started with a blank slate. I called for an estimate and Kyle was here the next day. He listened to a couple of our wants then pulled out his magic can of orange paint and went to work. A desert theme in the making. A couple days later we went to the nursery and picked out our plants, signed the deal and was scheduled to be done 4 days later.

The crew was amazing. Very hard workers. They were faced with a few challenges like the hardest rain we have seen in May since 1951. Needless to say our back yard became a lake and work was put to a halt. The next morning their crew chief came out and decided to get a pump to drain all the water so that it would dry faster. Thanks to the Arizona sun it dried and 3 days later work resumed. I have a beautiful back yard that I will enjoy for many years. I highly recommend The Yard Experts and will continue to use them for maintenance.

First I'd like to say that it takes a lot to impress me, let alone take the time to write about someone. However today was the day that I was impressed by The Yard Experts, Joe and his crew did an excellent job in my new property that honestly was shapeless and dead to say the least. One of my colleges recommended these guys in such high regard that I just had to give them a try.

One of my biggest concerns was getting my yard looking beautiful, being my first property and all. So i did and Joe came over gave me and estimate ideas and he told me not to worry that the dead lawn was an easy fix. The next thing I know they started to work and I'm so happy to say that now I have GREEN GRASS! I met up with Joe today as they finalized the project and boy am I glad I gave these guys a shot.

So since word of mouth got me to them, now I am happy to recommend them to anyone and everyone! Trust me I'm very hard to please and impress but the fact that everything was done in timely fashion and it was affordable need I say more? the results speak for themselves. If anyone out there is in the need of serious landscaping needs give these guys a try, I did and boy am I glad for Brian that recommended them. It's a great way to support our local businesses too. -THANKS GUYS

I hired The Yard Experts nearly three years ago to care for my lawn while I was away on military duty. The first year their customer service and lawn maintenance was great. The next year the lawn service plummeted; I was paying them to mow 2/3 of an acre of DEAD grass and had dead trees. Needless to say the management wasn't monitoring the crews and their work.

When I reported my findings, they made good and credited me a month of service, but did I mention it also cost me a few $600/mo water bills? Unfortunately, this last year, the customer service and maintenance is worse. I was recently charged for pre-emergent treatment, but later told I needed weed control for yet an additional cost. HUH? What's PRE-emergent for?!? AND they wanted to increase my maintenance service. My lawn looks like a desert weedscape. No thank you.
