A successful landscape plan starts with you, your home and your designer. There is a great difference in landscapes and "landscapers." Too often the inexperienced gardener is given the responsibility of professional plantsman. Be sure to announce it so everybody knows and gets excited about it. The cost of a properly designed landscape is far less than the cost of one which must suffer periodic re-landscaping. When the design work is completed, the plan is executed by trained personnel under the direction of the designer and experienced foremen.
Reduce fuel consumption by taking advantage of nature's own wind break: Evergreens! By using a grouping of Evergreens, 12 MPH winds in the winter can be reduced to 3 MPH winds, decreasing wind- chill factor and causing fuel savings. Deciduous plants and trees in the summer months act as cooling agents not only outdoors, but indoors as well when placed in sunny areas.
