It is hard to believe that I started this business 20 years ago. My accountant was right, I never worked so hard yet I would never go back. I am truly blessed. Great wife, great kids, and we are all healthy. And, what I do every day is what I love to do. I get to make positive changes in good people's worlds. Changes that improve their lives every day.For good people. People who work for a living and people that I strongly feel make the world a better place. The world is full of contractors that tell you that they will do the right thing but unfortunately we all know that more times than not their actions do not back up their words. I am Don Woodruff the owner of Backyard Tropicals and I have personally picked every rock for and built over 300 ponds and water features including the over 150 different features you'll find on my website.

I have been dealing with Don from Backyard Tropicals Inc. for years. His work is impeccable. He has installed a waterfall flowing into a fish pond and a pond -less waterfall in my back yard. When people come to my home, they say it is like paradise. and I couldn't agree more. In the front he put a beautiful pond-less waterfall. Constantly receive complements on his work. He is great to work with, if you have a suggestion he is right there with you.

Don did a great job adding a new bog to my existing pond. He spent a great deal of time discussing the project with me. He listened to my ideas, and shared many suggestions and options with me. I found Don to be responsive, reliable, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. The quality of his work was A+. He has my respect and highest recommendation.
