Yesterday, I was driving home and this company's employees were blowing leaves in my community. As I was driving down the road I notice two employees blowing leave further down the road. I slowed down waiting for them to let me pass. One of the employee signal to the other to let me pass. As I started moving, one of the employees took his blower and pushed the leaves toward the front my car and then they both laughed.
I had my windows and sunroof open and some of leaves got in. I'm still picking leaves from inside my car. I was so upset at the act but have the employees laugh at my face was absolutely unprofessional. I called the office and was told that the manager John McFarland would call me and he never did. I can only assume, management approves their employee's behavior, they are not to be trusted.

These people service where I live and to say unprofessional and lazy wouldn't even begin to describe it. They cannot tell a weed from a flower and the worst part when you contact them they say a "manager" will look into it but no reaches out. Great they can go out golfing but forget the customer. They trim the bushes and leave the trash talk about professionals. Save yourself the headache and don't hire them.

This company took over the lawn care in our community at Cabin Branch and now we look like a poor community that doesn't pay for lawn care. There are weeds everywhere! Grass doesn't get trimmed for weeks. Our neighbors have posted security footage of their worker barely running a weed trimmer over their grass with ONE swing and walking off their property and calling it a day. This company should just go out of business.

This company is fairly new to our property. On their first visit they missed significant areas unmowed. Fine. They were new. They were made aware of the issue and it took them 10 days to correct the issue. It's now taken them 2 months to weed our property. Finally, they've begun that process. The employees have no idea what a weed is and what a flower is. They pulled out $20 of HOA approved flowers from seeds and left clover and dandelion. In a positive note, they are fairly regular with regard to mowing the lawn.

I am a resident of Arbor Park in Alexandria, VA and wanted to write a review of McFall and Berry since they have been willing to go the extra mile for me. They have always done a good job maintaining the landscaping in my community but I found it especially helpful that they were willing to take care of my backyard even though that's not technically part of their contract. I would definitely recommend McFall and Berry to other communities in the Northern VA area.

McFall and Berry has been an extremely reliable landscaping service for me for the last few years. I noticed there were some negative reviews on here which are all surprising since I've had nothing but good experiences with M&B. I'm on the HOA of my community and they've always been easy and friendly to work with. No complaints here

Live in an residential building in Rosslyn and they have been contracted to do our grounds. Where to start. They don't do what is stated in the contract. They don't aerate, put down grass seed, do monthly fertilization, trim plants and pick up leaves. Basically they are only good for using old, loud and antique equipment to mow the lawn. They are a fraud company and would never recommend this company. This community will not renew their contract with this so called "premier lawn service ". I have been around good lawn services and this by far is one of the WORST!

This company has extraordinarily loud equipment. At 7:30 this morning I awoke to a very loud noise that sounded like a medivac helicopter. I live in a large condominium complex with our share of fire truck, ambulance and other emergency equipment visits to service our residents. I have good quality windows that help minimize nose. Normally, my windows muffle the sound of emergency vehicles. Normally, no contractors are allowed to start work before 10:00 am.
This morning I awoke with a huge headache, 2 and 1/2 hours before our condominium bylaws allow any work to be performed on our premises, to the uncommonly loud noise of McFall and Berry landscaping equipment. I do not recommend this company to residential clients. Their equipment is better suited for work along highways, not residential neighborhoods.
