Beginning in September of 1993, Joe has worked hard to establish and maintain a quality lawn care, tree care and landscape design-build company that has grown significantly over the last 26 years! Joe is always looking for better ways to serve Majestic's clients and to keep his employees happy. In 2016 Joe became a Certified Arborist, a certification that is recognized all over the world!

Briefly. Joe knocked on the door 25 years ago - asked if he could clean leaves. Sometimes ya don't realize you need help. About ten years later. needed help with wet (very wet) basement. Joe / Majestic - put in gutter drains. Heavy rain I can enjoy again. About five years ago. I needed help with the lawn - mowing / planting / trees. I have the best yard in town - I think - thanks to Majestic.

Signed a contact with Joe for drainage and other items on 4/27/22. It is 5/28/22 and I have called 4 times to ask when is the work going to get started. Not one phone call back. This whole time I could have been looking for other companies. Rude disrespectful unprofessional. I hope some way somehow you feel how it is too feel mistreated. and what we are experiencing. right now.

Staff is rude and very unprofessional- same with the Owner Joe. Never return calls. Charge very high for lawn cuts and NOT very consistent on weekly lawn cuts. I have to call them multiple times to cut my lawn especially if they have not cut for 2 weeks! Always charging me for fall leaves collection which I never mentioned- but instructed to leave those near curbside for town pick-up.
When they belgian block work in front, they accidentally cut my cable- and we lost internet for few days. He said it was NOT their fault and blamed the cable company instead!when I spoke to the owner Joe, he was very very rude, condescending when he talks to me, and looked at me head to toe like an ignorant woman! I will never recommend this company! BEWARE!

The female answering the phone is making sure you loose business. She never attempted to get my business. She never ask me to have someone come to my house or to make an appointment, nothing. I said ok thanx and she still didn't offer me your service. Serves me right for not reading the reviews that would have saved me time in writing this one.

The guys who do the lawn are great but the office staff is very unprofessional. They NEVER return phone calls. You have to keep calling and when you finally get someone in the office, they are condescending, rude, and sarcastic and you never get a direct answer. They bill monthly for services not performed and always have an excuse for why something wasn't done.
The Town has already come to pick up leaves but Majestic still hasn't even cleaned the leaves off me lawn so they could not be picked up. But they always have an excuse for everything.

STAY FAR AWAY! Reviews don't lie. Read the negative ones; those are the real reviews. Joe and his staff are disrespectful, and highly unprofessional. This review was long overdue. There's too much to put into writing. They overcharged for applications, and did a horrible job. We paid over $8k to end up with empty patches and crab grass. They also "swept things under the rug" and when they were approached about it, they didn't take responsibility for their actions and harrassed us for the final payment despite an incomplete job. Joe then had the audacity to come to our property and threaten us with a civil suit and arrogantly commented that he "never loses" a civil suit.
They ultimately never finished the job, although they were contracted to. We had to hire another contractor to fix the mess they made. Horrible people to do business with and they shouldn't be in business at all. Do your homework & read reviews. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BUSINESS.

I've been using Majestic for the last 3 years for my lawn care, yard upkeep and snow plowing. I love their thoughtfulness & attention to detail, and the attentiveness to their clients. Joe & his folks came up with a solution for my Japanese maple that was getting crushed by snow falling off the roof that 3 other landscapers couldn't. They provide personalized care, and do excellent work.

Short story: I paid a lot. Trusted their expertise. The system they designed and sold to me failed. They refused to correct it and ditched the job entirely. The details: Their office was entirely uncommunicative once I’d signed the high priced contract. When they finally scheduled us and began installing a drainage system, of their own design, it was in the wrong location amd water was pouring onto the sidewalk.
I pointed it out and and communicated it was not acceptable to drain that way. They almost didn’t correct it because the installation team was refusing amd arguing with the owner. At that point, I questioned the system design why the drywell was being installed on the side of the house with the least drainage. I was assured this was the plan they saw as best and the excess water would be corrected once the system location was moved to where it was originally planned to be.
I was then harassed on a daily basis to pay my invoice immediately upon receipt. NO WONDER! Their system failed with water pouring into the sidewalk. I called them out and they suggested a complicated and more expensive “correction.” Knowing nothing about drainage myself, simply using common sense, I suggested what seemed to be a quick and easy alternative.
I also asked them to fix the job complementary or at least for an excellent cost. They agreed my idea was easier/faster, told me it would not be given special consideration cost-wise and then they ditched the job entirely. They didn’t fix it, and never heard from them again.

I've used Majestic for nearly 20 years and always been happy w/their services but at the end of this past September my son planned to get married in my back yard and Joe came over to scout out how to get the yard in a position to really show how beautiful it could be. The Majestic crew showed up a few days before the wedding and just did a fantastic job with not just the items on our agreed to list but all the little things you could miss.
Not only that but they worked with us to take care of the particular last minute pruning and cleaning that came up as our plans evolved during the day. BTW the mowing team showed up the next day, were aware of the wedding plans and also went out of their way to make the yard beautiful. The event was wonderful and the yard looked great. Thanks to the Majestic crew and to Joe and the team for really being on this and making it happen!

We called Majestic for some landscape work that we needed done. Joe Holland came, gave an estimate and told us approximately how long the job would take. The job was completed in the time that was promised. The quality of the work and the efficiency that was shown by his crew was better than we anticipated. We would definitely use Majestic again.

I initially felt really positive speaking with Linda via email and over the phone, but it quickly became very disappointing. I was quoted $150 for a first mow of the year (it was long so I felt that was reasonable for a cut, some edging and cleanup. I also had Linda confirm that they would cleanup the clippings. I sent my credit card authorization to her and they had cut the lawn during a week I was away from the property, so card was charged and I returned to the house to find that the yard was partially trimmed, with large sections of long grass entirely avoided.
There also was long chunks of dried grass all over, it was clear that nothing was cleaned up. While I was gone (before I saw the quality of the result of the cutting) I asked Linda for a quote to remove some small tree stumps and long branches since we're clearing an area that was very wooded and since we knew we would be out of town it made sense to just pay and bit to have Majestic remove the yard waste.
Once I realized they aren't interested in doing quality work (with new customers), I told Linda that I wasn't satisfied with the lawn care and that we won't need their services to remove the yard waste. She told me "I will let the owner know", and that was it. No response. Guess the manager doesn't care? Short story-- don't use them. They obviously are struggling to run their business since they can't even do a baseline job to keep new customers!
