They're honestly really unprofessional. I remember making a call to the front desk a few years ago, and the lady talked in such a condescending manner, describing how they had too many customers now and couldn't take anymore. I've been too busy to say anything since then, but I sure do hope this poor business has learned so manners by now.

I ordered 70 sqyd of sod with instructions for the delivery guy to put the pallets at the far end of my driveway. The delivery guy had put the pallets IN THE FRONT YARD and left without me seeing him. So now I have to haul the sod an extra 100ft to my back yard. The sod was also absolute garbage. I could have gotten better sod from home Depot. I may not even be able to use it.

My whole front yard had been badly affected by hurricane Harvey. The owner of the company took the time to come and review the condition of my soil and recommend the best grass to install. They installed the zoysia grass and I was thoroughly impressed with the workers, installation and the caresheet left on how to maintain the grass. Very satisfied with the new look of my front yard. Grass still looks good after 7 months.

Very professional on the phone and the crew that came out was great. However the person who did my quote (there is normally a charge for this but it was waived as I was a referral) did not speak English and completely messed it up. He listened to what I said and kept telling me he would need to call his boss so I figured he understood enough of what I was saying and it is now obvious he didn't.
He quoted me for only 1 pallet of grass to do my entire front yard and I didn't catch it because the quote was in yards, not pallets. It ended up taking 3 and since they didn't have extra grass on the truck I had to do the rest myself, at a further expense. So what I thought was a good deal ($950 which included freight, preparing the ground, a microbial treatment, an insecticide treatment and all labor) ended up being a disaster. Honestly, I NEVER pay $950 to put in one pallet of grass; that is a complete rip-off.
In addition, there are what I consider to be an unacceptable amount of weeds in the grass, which considering that it was virgin ground all came with the new turf. I honestly considered not paying my invoice but decided to go ahead since I did agree to it and should have read the quote more carefully considering I knew the person who did it didn't understand what I was trying to tell him.

I got some Bermuda turf installed in the early summer by Mataturf and it has been difficult ever since. First, the guy they sent out to do the estimate didn't get there while I was there so that I could walk him though what was needed. The estimate was about $4400 which seemed to be within our budget. This was to include weed and grass killer applied to the old lawn, topsoil and the sod and install.
The next issue is the job took 2 full days! This resulted in a bill for $1200 more than what was estimated. When I asked about the difference and why an estimate could be so far off they said there was more work than planned (isnt that the point of a guy coming out to do an estimate?). The install headache has since past. Fast forward to September.
Not only did they not lay enough topsoil so that in patches the grass has not been able to root through the native clay-filled soil but, I have had to battle weeds coming up all over the place (remember, I paid them to apply weed killer to prevent this from happening). Issues of brown patches has shown that chinch bugs or grubs are present. We are diligent about watering and cutting so this is not about owner neglect by any stretch. Finally, when someone orders Bermuda Tif they expect a a dense lush turf that has been well-maintained at the farm site which includes a twice weekly cutting program.
The sod that was laid was about 2.5" and mostly brown stolons. This has been a nightmare as it will take all season just to get it to a height of 1" with no browning. I am disappointed mostly because I had purchased sod from these guys, recommended them in the past but, I think I will have to look elsewhere going forward.
