In 2005, two men from the western suburbs of Chicago started a small lawn care business. They began with only two lawn mowers and just the tools from their garages. As the years passed, they began to develop a significant client base which led to All American Landscaping becoming a reputable operation.
All American Landscaping can plan, build, and maintain your landscape. Whether you prefer a desert landscape or a tropical paradise of your very own, we can customize your landscape design to fit your unique needs. We will work with you to create the landscape you are looking for to complement your home. We provide you with a computer drawing of your landscape plan so you will know exactly how your landscape will look before we begin installing it.
Proper mowing is one of the most important practices in keeping your lawn healthy and we, at All American Landscaping, take pride in just that. Grasses are like most plants - if you clip off the growing points (for grass, it's in the crown, where the new leaves develop), the plants branch out and become denser, which in this case, turns thousands of individual grass plants into a tightly woven turf or a lawn. If you didn't mow at all, your yard would look more like a prairie than a lawn. But the mere act of mowing isn't what makes a lawn look good.

This was the first time I decided to use a landscape service, as we are getting older. I called for an estimate, made an appointment, took off of work only to not have anybody show up. There was no communication that they would not be there, they simply did not come and have not communicated since. It was a very disappointing first experience.

A total and absolute disappointment. I booked a project to place a small retaining wall with John. It was 5 weeks in advanced and agreed to a price above cost so that there would be quality and relatability. Thur before the project starting on Monday I got a notification that the wall blocks I agreed on were not in. he suggested I choose options for another block. due to the short notice, urgently I went to 2 places to find the blocks.
In the mean time he canceled the project. no explanation, no discussion. I waited 5 weeks for the project to start and took time off work to look for blocks due to to the irresponsibility of John. I highly suggest not wasting your time w this company and John. a total and absolute disappointment

I have had John and his crew for the past 3 years. He has always shown up when he said he would and has done many different types of jobs for us. He redid a brick walkway, rebuilt raised beds and plowed our snow. He has always been responsive to small jobs too such as hedge trimming or removing tree roots. They are very neat when the job is completed. They do our spring and fall cleanup regularly.
