Great website but Zero custom service. Wrong work was completed and when it came to correcting/doing what was ask, flat out gave an excuse as to why it can't be done and out worked around it. Only 50% of the sprinkler heads were raised and shifted and one sprinkler heard spray directly against the mulch metal bed that was placed in the ground. I didn't get the chance tell the owner because he was quick to come up with excuses for everything I brought up.

The next issue I bear 50% of the blame. I had black mulch down because it popped out against the house background so why would I put brown mulch when I had Black! Also, I asked for a flower tree and the removal of a 9 foot frail infected tree, thinking I would take his professional recommendation. Bad Idea! I got a shrub of a plant that will bare zero flowers. Now, what went right.

The trimming was good. The grass is greener however, still bold spots and I need to seed myself. The the mulch(wrong color) was placed nicely and the gravel/rocks in the utility look nice.

Steve, just completed a redo of our backyard. From sodding in the spring to over seeding in the fall his professionalism is impressive. After 30 years in the business one would think he would send his employees to do the work. Not Steve. He was working at my house until 8 o'clock making sure the work was done correctly. It is this professionalism that makes his organization stand out. I highly recommend him for all you landscaping needs. Thanks, Donald and Karen.

I have been having flooding issues in my back yard for almost 16 years. Steve had a solution which is more than I can say about other companies that came and looked at the job. Now with that said. he came in with his plan and I was not 100% sure was going to work but he gave me his guarantee that it would work. Well it didn't, after the first heavy rain my yard was not draining fast enough to keep my garage from flooding. 20 minutes after the rain the yard was 75% drained better but not what was guaranteed.

I called Steve and talked to him about the issues. He came back out within a week and added a second line and an additional drain. He was true to his guarantee and made it right. I can't ask for more than that. He has earned my recommendation.

We needed some pampas grass removed on a house we just bought. We let Steve know how urgent it was as my 1 year old son loved playing in it and was covered in cuts. He squeezed the job in and had it finished 1 week after we gave the down payment. Every other place had us quoted for 3 weeks later. Really nice guys that work for him too.

Hired A1 to Mulch, Weed, Mow, pretty much a springtime cleanup. Owner was easy to get a hold of and communicated in a timely manner via phone and text. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of my experience with this company. The quality of work was non existent, the owner had an excuse for everything. The day they where suppose to show up and work, I received a call halfway through the day stating they wouldn't be there until the following day.

When they did begin the work I received phone calls from the owner stating he wanted to up charge for work he had quoted, due to his incompetency. Once the work was completed I called and told the owner I was unsatisfied with the quality of work. I asked him to come back and make it right. Excuses again, he said, "I should never have said I would mow my landscaping company doesn't do that work, I had to bring my own equipment from home to even do this." At the end of the day he refused to come back and I have now gone back mowed and weed wacked.

I paid in full and will never use or recommend this company again. Hopefully this helps when it comes time for others to decided on which company to go with. A1 Landscaping is incompetent and will rip you off.

Steve came out yesterday and gave me a quote and let me know that he would be able to do the job we requested today. He was very honest, answered my questions, and even worked with our budget. We are so pleased with him and his team. I would recommend them to anyone in this area! Our home looks like a home again. Thank you again for everything!

Steve and his crew are absolutely amazing! We recently moved into a new home where the hoa doesn't do the backyard. I went online and requested a quote, he came out and gave us our estimate. We were shocked at how reasonable the price was considering how much work was needed. He agreed to do 2 flower beds with rocks, fix our drainage issues, and lay sod.

We were delayed a bit due to weather. Finally we had some good sunny days and they began the work. They wasted NO time! They got here first thing in the morning and were at it all day. The next day they were back and finished the flower beds. Day 3 sod was laid. We are so pleased and ecstatic over our gorgeous backyard! Thank you to Steve and all his guys!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience using A-1 Landscaping! The owner is very knowledgeable and does beautiful work. We had a pool put in over the summer, so our whole back yard was a mess and needed a complete makeover. When he came for a quote, he listened to all of my ideas and immediately went back to his truck to draw up a plan with the quote.

We ended up wanting to change a couple of the plants, and he was happy to find exactly what we wanted. Throughout the process he kept us informed every step of the way. Our yard exceeding our expectations, and we are extremely pleased with everything. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

We had a pool installed last year and with the weather the project ran late and we were unable to get the concrete work done until the fall, meaning by the time we could get landscaping to finish the backyard restoration the season was over. We contacted A-1 to sod and improve the drainage in the backyard. Steve was very responsive, came out to the jobsite each time himself, and the work looked great.

If anything he moved faster than we were ready for so we had to make an emergent trip to home depot to get what we needed to keep the newly laid sod watered, but once done everything looked fantastic. Based on the time of year, the sod that was laid looked very brown and dead, but he assured us it would come to life, so we waited to make sure everything greened up and we were happy with the job - backyard is ready for the summer and it only took about 3 weeks.

Our yard was completely barren, drainage was terrible, and there were some trees that died during the excavation for the pool. A-1 took care of everything. Great service and would highly recommend!
