My beautiful front yard transformation was recently completed by Pitkin Landscape & Design. Brad Gore of Gore Planning, Inc. designed the blueprint & recommended Roger Pitkin & his team to bring the blueprint to life. I am 110% satisfied with my decision to follow Brad's advice & select Pitkin Landscape & Design. Roger & his team are CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONALS.

Roger Pitkin works with a designer named Brad Gore. It is a partnership that allows Roger to focus on each project one at a time. While the design was great, the job presented Roger with significant challenges. His experience and creativity allowed him to come up with great solutions for each challenge. Communication with him was great and the work and quality of the plants was excellent. Now I have a yard that was transformed into a beautiful, low maintenance yard that uses much less water. I highly recommend Pitkin Landscape!

We've used Pitkin Landscape twice now and both times Roger has been great. The first job was a custom pergola and deck which was more than fairly priced and completed on time in a professional manner. Now we are having a paver walk way and seating area installed in the front and were given another more than fair price. Roger explained exactly what the job entailed, offered expert suggestions to our overall idea, and spoke competently and politely in his assuaging of any concerns we had. We definitely would recommend them and will be using Pitkin Landscape and Design for future projects.

Roger Pitkin and his dedicated team transformed my blah yard into my own personal paradise. When I look or step outside I feel as though I am at an exclusive resort. Peaceful and tranquil, with lots of function, I have so much more usable outdoor living space. I don't feel like I even live in a tract home neighborhood! Consistent with the other reviews, Roger is super easy to work with, he and his team take pride in their craft.

I called on Roger independent of calling on Brad Gore and they both recommended the other! They both spent a lot of time to define the space and the design and functionality uniquely for me. Beyond happy with our NEW backyard that Roger built. Roger was recommended by Brad Gore and we are glad that Brad did. Roger was very patient in listening to me and our forever changing ideas and questions. Roger added more plants and ideas, based of my questions and concerns. I recently had my backyard transformed by the pros at Pitkin. They did a wonderful job. As far as price goes they are more than fair. They always showed up on time. My backyard looks like a temperate rain-forest now Thanks to Rodger and his staff.

Roger Pitkin and his team just finished our landscaping and I am beyond thrilled with the way everything turned out. The crew were always on time, executed everything perfectly, dealt with any changes I threw at them, always communicated with me if I had questions or concerns. I can't express how much I enjoyed working with Roger. He always has a sunny disposition and is so easy to get along with.

Most importantly, he pays attention to every little detail and was always one step ahead of me. Him and his crew are fantastic at what they do. My front and back yards are so beautiful and we are constantly getting compliments from neighbors and family. Our home feels complete now. We 100% recommend Pitkin landscaping. They are fantastic at what they do! I have included before and after photos.

Pitkin redid our entire backyard including removal, pouring new cement, making a firepit area, installing new trees, plants, and shrubs. Connected to our existing sprinkler system and ran new lines. Installed fountain. We were very impressed. The crew arrived on time and worked hard all day every day. In many ways they went above and beyond, for example tilling and amending the soil even in areas un-planted and to be covered by wood chips. Roger is prompt on follow-up when we've needed something after installation.

We hired Brad Gore to draw up the landscaping plans for the entire property, which were done in extreme detail and with a precise drawing. With plans in hand, I then solicited bids from a number of landscaping outfits, including Roger Pitkin. Roger's bid was neither the highest nor the lowest, but his knowledge and easy-to-work-with attitude won me over.

They did a great job. Roger's crew paid close attention to the planting plan, and everything was planted (almost) exactly as called for on the plan. Planting was done in January, 2017 (amid heavy rains), and then really grew fast in the spring. By late August, most things were doing well, but a few plants appeared to be dying off. Roger came by and helped adjust the watering which solved the problem.

But what really separates Roger from the competition is the pride he takes in his work, and his dedication to customer satisfaction. Case in point: we had a number of plants that were supposed to grow 4-6 feet high and serve as a hedge along a fence. The plants that were planted were spreading laterally, but not growing in height. My guess is that Roger inadvertently picked up a dwarf variety.

While lovely plants, they were just never going to grow into a screening hedge. Long story short, after 18 months of failing to grow taller, I called Roger and told him my sad story. His response was, "How many plants do you need?" Now this is 6 months beyond his 12-month warranty. How's that for customer service? Pitkin Landscaping - simply the best of the best. Thanks, Roger!

Brad and Rodger are truly a class act! When we set out to transform our backyard into a functional living space for our family we had a few ideas, but definitely could not put our ideas into a seamless and cohesive plan. Brad provided plans that captured everything we where looking for and Rodger was able to bring our backyard to life. We were also pleased that throughout the project Rodger welcomed input and was willing to add and change small details to our liking.

We heard great things about Gore Planning and Pitkin Landscape and Design and they exceeded our expectations! We will definitely go back to them when we are ready to transform our front yard.

We were put in contact with Roger through Landscape Designer Brad Gore. Although we had to wait several months for Roger to become available to bring Brad's design to life, it was well worth the wait. Roger's crew showed up every day, Monday through Friday, until our job was completed. They were professional, kept a clean worksite, and finished ahead of schedule. Roger kept in communication with us throughout the process and was easy to reach if we had questions. We are delighted with the results and highly recommend both Roger Pitkin and Brad Gore.

Being new home owners, working long hours from home, and when finally feeling like you have a moment to relax, only to look out at an unfinished backyard, always felt like there was still a bit of chaos in our world. It honestly has brought such peace to our day looking out at our amazing yard and enjoying our space that much more! We were introduced to Roger by our landscape designer, Brad Gore. Roger met with us on one of Brad's appointments and let us know a start date.

He also called the week before to let us know they would be coming out to start the beginning stages of our design. Roger's crew were friendly, worked incredibly hard, and it really shows the level of craftsmanship and care they put into our yard. Roger was such a help during the process and let us know what to expect each week of work. He was even able to help us with small changes in our deign to better suit our yard.

He was always so willing to chat with us and gave me some excellent suggestions on fall/winter garden planting. Upon completion Roger walked through our finished yard and answered any questions on how to use our drip system, lighting, and plant care. Roger really set us up to be able to help this yard flourish and use our garden for years to come!

The knowledge he has on the plants and how to care for them has been such a help. We are so excited to have our own space to enjoy! Roger and his team will always have our top recommendation!

Finally! found a contractor Roger and his team knew what they were doing I couldn't be more happy watching our yard coming to life. From the time they get here in the morning from the time they leave they are all hard at working. Thank you Roger for your professionalism!

It has always been a pleasure working with such a talented contractor and all around great guy like Roger and his amazing crew. They fully understand how to realize all the detail and nuances of a creative design plan. And having our client's landscape awarded as the "Yard of the Month", in their nice community, is a testament to that.

We hired Brad Gore and Roger Pitkin to do the landscape design and installation of our entire property (a new build). We were living out of state during the early stages of the job and Brad made the communication process so easy. He listened to what we wanted - incorporating plants that I wanted into the design but also making other suggestions when climate issues made certain plants not a good choice.

His suggestions were always spot on. He came in on budget and always met deadlines. Once the design was completed, Roger took over and began the installation. Roger was wonderful to work with. His crew was professional and polite - showing up each and every day ready to work. Roger was also on site each day - he was always available to discuss anything with us and when asked, made some specific plant suggestions when I wanted to add some climbing roses to the design.

While Brad's design was followed very closely, if he felt that a slight modification might be necessary, he made sure that he discussed it with us and we were then able to make a decision. The job was just completed and our yard looks just beautiful. I can't wait to watch it as the plants mature. Brad and Roger are a terrific team. I agree with another reviewer when he said that it's not often that you work with contractors that are not only knowledgeable and also responsible. It was a pleasure working with both Brad & Roger. we highly recommend both of them.

I just ran into Rodger at a local bakery and it reminded me how much we love and use our backyard. It's been almost 2 years since it was completed and it's really held up and matured well. I'm really glad he recommended the drainage system because even in the rare torrential downpour, water never pools up. I'd highly recommend Pitkin landscape and design!

We were looking to do a significant amount of work on our yard. We currently are sitting on 12K sq-ft and wanted to add a retaining wall that stretched from the front yard, through the side yard, and went all the way to the end of our back yard. We were also looking to increasing our driveway, relocating our sprinkler system, increasing our front porch & walkway, and convert to a more drought resistant type of landscape.

When we found Pitkin and read the reviews, I had thought I had found the perfect company to partner with. Unfortunately, this was the beginning and the end of the honeymoon with Pitken landscape. I called and talked to the owner (Roger) and described what I wanted done. He told me that this was right up their alley and would have his estimator call me back and schedule an appointment.

The estimator called, and we schedule an appointment. Now, both my wife and I work and we both wanted to be there, so we scheduled it as late as we could. But my wife still needed to take some time off to make the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I got a call 1-hour before we were to meet and was informed by the estimator that he needed to reschedule.

He never called back. Calls to both him and Roger were never returned. So, my wife burned vacation time to meet with them and they never showed. Sorry, but if I can't trust you to keep your appointment and to call me back, how can I trust you with my home and so much Money. You must be really busy to be able to blow people off like you do.

I called this company to get a price to remove a 2" layer of dirt from a 8x20 section of my front yard then put down a weed barrier and two inches of Decomposed granite. He said it would be roughly $2000. I figured he might be confused on the size of the job so I explained it to him again and told him my last quote was for $600. He told me "I can do it for a little less than the $2000 but nothing close to $600, good luck".click. Wow, thats it? You just hang up? He might do good work but ill never know.

Last year Roger and his team put in a beautiful patio and hard cover, built me 3 planter boxes, an arbor as well as landscaping the yard from dirt. Everyone comments on how beautiful our yard is. Roger is back this year for a couple small projecst including a rock wall and spring planting. He is easy to work with, even takes me shopping at the nursery with him.

He is honest and very trustworthy. We gave him the key to our gate. He know his plants and works to help you find just what you'll like that will grow well in the area. I would never use anyone but him and highly recommend him for all your landscape needs. He is amazing!
