There are important differences between landscaping and construction. Construction is work that is done to non-living areas of a property. This includes building structures and altering land to make it more useful. Although adding plants to a property, such as a flower garden or a vegetable or herb patch, can improve its functionality and appearance, landscaping does not include permanent fixtures like structures. It can be done by a person, who will maintain the space afterward, or it can be done by a construction company.
Services
While you may not be able to see the similarities between construction and landscaping, they both involve changing and improving existing land features. In both cases, you'll be changing the land and building structures that can enhance its functionality. This can include everything from walkways to walls to outdoor performance areas to fences.
The seven most common types of landscaping construction involve adding or changing existing features on land. The aim of this process is to create a space that will last for many years. As a result, landscaping is a permanent process that people often want to have completed as soon as possible. In addition to adding new features to your outdoor space, landscaping construction may also involve demolishing old ones. In some cases, landscaping construction can be a career in and of itself. Before hiring a landscaper, be sure to review the property thoroughly.
The landscaper will first assess the space to be landscaped. The landscaper will assess the soil conditions, slope, size, and amount sunlight or shade. They will also examine any possible obstructions such as tree roots or buried utility lines. These are important considerations that will impact the final product.
Before starting any landscaping project, you should make an inventory of your yard's current conditions. Different plants grow in different soil and climates, so your site inventory will help you decide what plants to plant and where to place feature trees, patios, and fences. If your home faces south, it is best to plant trees with southern exposure.

I've had this company do a few jobs at my house. Each time I am happy with the results. They clean up very well and it's like no one was ever here when they're gone. I think their prices are fair, however, I did not get a quote from another company for this last job. No need to. Very happy with the way the project turned out. I've found the right landscaper for me!
