We had our front and backyards re-landscaped by Green Team. We couldn't be happier with the results. Their crew is extremely skillful in all aspects of the work we had done from demo of boring planting areas, to new fencing, to prep and planting of new plants and trees, to installation of state of the art irrigation, to water feature installation, to lighting.
The result is exactly what we had in mind. The work was fast, extremely neat, and the occasional unexpected obstacle in this long-neglected yard presented no problem. Every person on the crew was polite, professional, and clearly highly experienced and skillful. Fantastic result and we strongly recommend them. Kudos as well to our landscape designer, Susan Morrison, who understood exactly what we had in mind and pointed us to the perfect company to execute her design.

Fred and team, Rigo, Adam, Vince, Francisco, and the others where wonderful, professional and did a fantastic job, they turned my yard into an oasis, from the hardscape, garden planter box, lighting, water system and plants, never batted an eye on my few change orders. All of the workers could not have been more pleasant to have on my property. Job took about 2 months and had the opportunity to really get to enjoy them.
The attention to detail on my hardscape was amazing. The product we chose ended up needing a ton of cuts and each one was perfection. I am so pleased with the service and skill they brought to the job, I would highly recommend them. So far the after care service has been spot on as well. We used a profession landscape designer (Susan, with creative landscape design) and Fred and his team coordinated with her for all aspects to create an absolute transformation of my yard. The hardscape was well done. However, the landscaping was very problematic. Fred and team started to follow the landscape designers blueprint on the first side of the house, however, by the time they got to planting the hillside, and the other sides of the house, the blueprint specified prep was not followed and the plants were basically stuck into the existing hard clay and then covered with landscape mulch.
Many plants have died. As far as I can tell, Fred did not supervise adequately and did not specify what needed to be done so that the work was done correctly. Although Fred was responsive when I complained, he then had one of the side beds redone when I wasn't home after I specifically asked him to let me know when the work was going to be done so I could supervise it.
When I came upon the job as it was being completed he told me that because the bed is close to redwoods (20 feet or so), that the roots grow right back in again so they can't do the blueprint specified prep. Ok, I understand that might be the case in that bed. But then it turns out that all three of the drainage portals in that bed were completely covered with dirt. I'm so frustrated by all of the "nice to your face" but questionable work "behind my back" game that seems to have gone on here.
We were prompt with paying when Fred requested.we lived up to our side of the contractual agreement. It's maddening that Green Team did not live up to theirs. Our landscape designer recommended Fred and Green Team. Unfortunately, with the landscape designer being separately contracted from the landscapers, it gives the landscapers a lot of latitude to vary from the plan. A very expensive lesson.
