I began planning my backyard transformation with Eddie several months ago. He had many ideas/suggestions which were incredibly creative and eye catching. There were many little details he worked into our plans to accommodate our children and various animals. The contract price was reasonable for the amount of work that would take place.and let me just emphasize now, the contract price is exactly what I paid for the job.

There was no nickel and diming which I appreciated! When the project started Eddie's crew showed up ON TIME EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not once was I wondering where the guys were! They were lovely men who worked very hard. Eddie met me bi weekly to give me updates on progress. The overall all experience was fantastic. Now that it's over, I wish we had done it sooner. A+ company with old school, hard working values.a true gem!

This is an A+ company. Definitely worth the money. We're thrilled with our new yard. Chris R. came out to consult, offer ideas, and give an estimate. Once we were on the schedule, the crew did an incredible job of quickly transforming our yard from a rocky, overgrown terrain, to a beautifully landscaped front yard with serious curb appeal. Chris offered ideas for the types of plants to use along with ideas for lighting and paving.

I wanted something that would be easier to maintain while also not looking overly manicured. Chris was able to take my vague direction and come up with a design that I really love. Chris and the crew were also great about making some small changes along the way. This is a thoroughly professional company who pays attention to details. They were worth every penny and I couldn't recommend them more emphatically.

We had a fence and steps up a hill constructed. The crews were great, did quality work and communicated with us. They showed up on time and cleaned up before they left. We had to wait for awhile as they are really busy right now, but it was worth the wait. They are a 'real' company - they have insurance, the crews take their breaks, and they had a port a john onsite.

Eddie and his team did INCREDIBLE work on my yard. It was a full-blown jungle of about 8,000SF front and back. They showed up promptly and did so much more than promised. I'm so happy with the quality of their work. I was quoted by at least 5 teams and theirs was hands down the most affordable and reliable. Not to mention they're fully insured, which as a homeowner is incredibly important. Don't hesitate to schedule with them!

Eddie and company do everything they promise, and more you don't expect. Fair quote? Check. Fast, quality work that finishes on time? Check. Ideas to help you save money while still pulling off an amazing yard? Check. Most importantly to me, they help out post-installation with any question, problem or fix you need. Eddie and team are the best out there.

This is a great company. Chris has gone over and beyond what was asked or expected. After many months, I have called and he came out to answer questions, teach me how to fix drip lines( which I damaged by accident) and even provided parts for free. He has come out to this beautiful yard he created and answered questions, made adjustments, and generally has restored my faith in contractors.

I wish they did more than landscaping. I would hire his company in a hot second. Thanks again Chris! You and all of your crew are great guys and super hard workers. I'd offer you a beer. but you're working.

This is an overdue review; I have had my new landscaping for a year now and could not be more pleased with Eddie and QGL. They are a very professional well-run business with great results. Eddie is easy to work with and always ready to answer any questions. Emails are answered promptly and phone calls are welcomed. I had a very challenging front yard with numerous critter issues and various sun exposures. Eddie chose the most beautiful, interesting, and appropriate plantings for the area.

The plants are thriving (all encased in gopher proof baskets), the hardscape is beautiful, the drip system is so efficient, the lighting is spectacular - particularly on my oak trees- and each season brings new interest to the area. Eddie provided me with a list of choices that I was able to choose from as well as his recommendations for my particular situation.

He is very knowledgeable about plants and design and was always patient with all my questions. He would also stop by if I had questions about the new drip system controls that couldn't be answered over the phone. I also had them replace my front porch, steps, and walkway and it changed the whole look of my entry. Driving up to my home now always gives me a good feeling. Eddie's crew was neat, punctual, and got the job done on time. Neighbors that were home during the project told me they were impressed with their workmanship.

Everyone loves my new yard! As a single woman, I appreciate feeling that I was not taken advantage of and any concerns, questions, problems would always be addressed. Landscaping projects are a significant expense and I told Eddie that this was a big deal for me. I felt that he understood and appreciated my concerns but I think he knew that I would be very happy with the results and I definitely am. I also use QGL as my landscaping service and they have been fabulous caring for the plants and going the extra mile in service. Very glad I went with QGL. Debbie S.

Chris came over to give me an estimate for landscaping and drainage around my home. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and thorough. I have had about five other companies in the area come out, and quality gardening and landscaping Inc was by far the most thorough and knew how to take care of the root issues.

QGL just completed landscaping our back and front yards. The backyard was a rough demo with tiers of retaining walls, and old pergola, lots of concrete from posts and stairs, an old "waterfall" feature, and rough rocky soil. We had no vision for what we wanted the yards to look like, I just knew what I wanted it to feel like when I was out there. Eddie took the time to thoughtfully design our yards, he picked great plants and had great suggestions.

His team was professional and hard working. They took the time to do it right and we couldn't be happier with the results. There was even a little miscommunication about a type of groundcover for a small area, I brought it up to Eddie and without hesitation, he agreed to make that small change for us. We are very happy and we can't wait to host some great BBQ's in our beautiful yard this summer!

QGL replaced/ and upgraded our old front landscape, and then they maintained the entire yard. Responsive crew was great to work with and they were meticulous (translation. they knew the difference between a weed and renewing perennials). They were the only service that I have used that was willing to pluck away azalea and rhododendrons' faded blossoms. I have now moved a far distance and it is impossible to find this quality service where I live now.

I used this gardening service after a disappointing 10 years of service from a business that touts their glorious garden designs. QGL was great! They reworked failed landscaping as well as provided regular maintenance. The maintenance crew was meticulous and very responsive. Sadly, we moved and I had to leave QGL behind. I wish they had moved with me!

I have been a customer of Eddie and his team for over 20 years. Quality Gardening and Landscaping has worked on a number of projects at my home, including totally landscaping my front and back yards, trimming trees, installing and maintaining my sprinkler system, mowing lawns, and maintaining my yards on an every other week schedule. Eddie is professional, responsive and informative.

His team is reliable and flexible and will work on whatever projects and areas that need work. Team leader Jose is friendly and reliable, as well as knowledgeable about plants and trees. I haven't found a job or project that QGL can't do!

Nancy and her crew do an excellent job. They have worked for us about a year now and we certainly want them to stay. She has given us a lot of information about our landscaping, trees and sprinkler systems. Very reliable.

I think it's best to use your product before the awnings get too dirty.

Quality Gardening & Landscaping has done several projects for me over the years, and the results have always been excellent. Eddie and his team provide personal oversight to all the work and a very responsive to any requests made of them. They work quickly and efficiently to get the job done on time and at or under budget. For my last project, they not only did a complete yard makeover but also poured a cement walkway and constructed a beautiful arbor. I would highly recommend Quality Gardening & Landscaping.

We've had Quality Gardening & Landscaping for several years now and are quite satisfied. They stick to a predictable schedule, keep the yard neat and tidy, are quick to respond to requests such as minor irrigation issues. No drama, good service. My only quibbles are around price/ value. For the amount of time they spend here, the monthly fee seems steep. If I were on a tight budget, I would comparison shop.

Eddie Told me they were the #1 landscaper in the bay area. He came out, looked at a property, said he would send over a quote. He was unwilling to provide a quote because it was on the hillside. If the #1 landscaper in the Bay Area cannot handle it I guess I will do it myself.

I switched to QGL over ten years ago, when I got tired of seeing my hedges trimmed in round balls and cubes -- QGL's gardeners hand-clip, leaving a natural, healthy plant. My team who does the weekly service consistently go above and beyond, and respond quickly to the needs of the yard, and little extras. I've had several different teams over the years, and they've all been first-rate.

A couple years ago I had them remove my lawn and design/install a low water landscaping plan --- it is gorgeous, and we actually USE our yard so much more than we ever did before. Eddie has great ideas, never pushes too much, and does what he says he's going to do.

Two stars because the people we spoke with were polite. My husband called to see when someone could give us an estimate, we had to schedule two weeks out just for them to take a look! He said fine. Well, in or calls for quotes, someone else came out the same day, we made an agreement, and the guys have been out twice (once for a big clean up and again for maintenance).

We had actually forgotten to cancel with Quality, but figured we would get an estimate just incase. Jeremy told me the yard would need a clean-up (not sure what, exactly) or if I skipped the clean-up it would take several months to get in shape. Again, I'm baffled, the yard was horrifying before the other crew came and we are very happy. He said he would have to email me a quote.

Well it came. Their clean-up price was double what I already paid. Their bi-weekly maintenance fee was several times more than what I'm paying. Honestly, I'm not sure how the pricing is so wildly different. I am happy with the service I am currently paying for and I think it looks just fine. Jeremy was unable to tell me what his "clean up" would entail, just kept reiterating how it needed to be done. I'm sure they are great guys, but he wasn't able to tell me any more about what service he would provide for the money and frankly, paying a ridiculous amount more for vague statements doesn't sit well with me.

I should start by saying we have a fairly large garden in which we take great pride. We found that our prior gardeners weren't caring for it the way we wanted - a little too mow and blow for my taste. We've worked with QGL for a couple years now. First they did a project for us, then we hired them for our regular garden maintenance services. They've consistently done right by us - I feel like they genuinely CARE for our garden.

One of the things I like BEST is that they show up when they say they will, they're reliable, professional and they do good work. Sounds like basic stuff but my experience has been that you can't always rely on service providers to do what they say they'll do, when they say they'll do it. Eddie (the owner) is great to work with. We have another project coming up soon to minimize water usage - they're so great to work with I didn't really even consider getting another bid.
