Kane Lawn & Landscapes

We've been using Kane Landscaping for at least five years. Overall, we're pleased. The workers who mow our lawn, trim our hedges, and maintain our garden beds always do a good job. We have, however, experienced problems with communication between the project managers and their crew. I raised concerns about this issue and it took awhile for it to be corrected but it finally was.

Now we're on a good trend. They are being very attentive in light of those issues. Like any company, there are always problems to work through. I would recommend Kane Landscapes.

Working with Kane Landscaping was an exceptional experience. The entire team was prompt, professional, clean, detail-oriented, on schedule and highly communicative. The project was completed to an incredibly high standard, so much so that we are already planning our next project! I cannot recommend this company enough.

We used Kane Landscapes to design and build a new front walkway and stoop for our house. Additionally, Kane demolished and removed the old, cracked, concrete walkway and stoop, and several mangy trees and shrubs. They regraded our front yard to prevent water from pooling near our foundation and in the front of the house. We also had them prep the front yard for grass seed and plant a new crepe myrtle.

We couldn't be more pleased with the results. Everyone at Kane, from our landscape designer, Walter, our project manager, John, and the entire team was exceptionally professional and courteous. They worked quickly and cleanly and delivered exactly what was promised, on schedule and on budget. Walter was very collaborative in helping us develop an excellent landscape design and plan.

He took our ideas and made them better. John and his project team executed the plan to perfection. They transformed the front of our house and we're now the envy of the neighborhood. We would use Kane Landscapes again in a heartbeat!

Kane Landscape is hands down one of the best contractors I have worked with. From day one, Walter was responsive, thorough and above all professional. In a time when it seems customer service is generally dead, Kane goes above and beyond to take care of their clients. Anytime we needed to meet, the team was responsive and worked with us to arrange times, even off hours to make sure we were taken care of.

Everyone from the leadership to the work crews were top notch! A great example of their professionalism, we recently met to do a final walk through of our driveway project. Before I even got outside, Walter had a punch list of items he noticed which were all on my list. We have been so impressed with Kane that we have begun working with them on a multi-year plan to create our dream outdoor living space!

What a beautiful job of design and construction they did. Our job involved building two low stone walls, and installing a dry creek bed/pathway in our backyard, with a drainage pipe sunk beneath it to carry away the excess water that drains into our yard from 3 sides. (Last winter it was a lake most of the time.) They did a beautiful job with the stonework, very naturalistic and curvy, took care of every detail we asked, and cleaned it all up when they were done.

The drainage feature has already been tested, and worked, almost as soon as it was installed: there was a 2 downpour that fell in about a half an hour, but the new feature handled the runoff beautifully. Kane was great to work with--esp. with Walt Bainbridge and his wonderful workers.

Kane has helped us design and build out a beautiful landscape around our home. Plus, Emily, Pat, and Steve have been pleasure to work with. Services: Mulching, Lawn mowing & maintenance

Kane Landscaping blew our expectations out of the water. We had them do a few hardscaping jobs; a large back patio, as well as the front walk and the landscaping around it. Josh and his team took the time to lay out several design ideas based on our wants. Then once we confirmed which plan we wanted they jumped right into action. Man. talk about efficiency!

They were great; There was never a wasted moment; always on-time; always professional; and did exactly what the contract spelled out. FYI - The contract was one of the most detailed contracts that I had ever seen. There was no wondering if this or that would be done. The workmanship was top of its class. And the workers were beyond classy. We even witnessed them cleaning dust particles off a neighboring car.

Talk about above and beyond. Do your self a favor and skip the handyman that says "I can do that" and hire a professional. you get what you pay for. and I will choose Kane Landscaping every time.

I've been using Kane Landscaping for over 12 years. Every interaction I've had with Josh or John has been nothing short of excellent! The team stands behind the quality work that they do and the 5-year warranty is the gold standard of the Landscaping industry. Kane Landscaping is TOP NOTCh. they are expensive. but worth every penny. From the initial design to the final product, they are thorough and methodical. They are so professional and stand by everything that they do and make sure the work is quality.

Our yard is spectacularly maintained by Kane Landscapes! The maintenance is reliable, of outstanding quality, and reasonably priced. Communication has also improved over the past two years. I would definitely recommend Kane.

We have known Kane Landscaping for several years and have seen the amazing work their crews do on other people's homes. However, this year we decided to stop doing things on our own or with landscapers that did not have the capabilities, knowledge and skills such as Kane. We couldn't be happier with the decision. Bobby Gordon laid out several options and a plan to rehabilitate our lawn over the next two years. However, we could not be happier with the results after only a couple months.

While far from finished, it's already a dramatic improvement. Beyond the results, communication has been wonderful. Bobby even stops by periodically to check on the work being done and has had the maintenance crew address problems we did not even notice.

Very Happy! Just completed a stone river drain and rebuilt our Stone wall that was completely falling over. These guys not only came out and did a great job, but they also worked straight through the whole day! Also, Bobby our main contact, is incredibly knowledgeable and when we had an issue with another Companies service. He personally came out within an hour and had come up with a solution to the issues. I'm excited to see what they will do in restoring the rest of our yard. Their work on my neighbors yard speaks for itself. My wife and I are extremly pleased thus far.

Very very expensive company and services are not of quality to match the price! They are very polite and respectful, I should say in fairness. Overall I was disappointed with the services they provided.

We decided to install a new front walkway in our single family home. We wanted a company that could help us with both the design and installation. We also wanted high quality workmanship at a good value. We ended up choosing Kane Landscaped. The owner, Josh Kane, presented us with a design we loved. His crew was very friendly and professional. The owner and his project manager both personally came to check on the project several times over the course of the demo (to remove the existing concrete builder grade sidewalk) and install. Our new front walkway is beautiful and we get lots of compliments. We are delighted with Kane Landscapes and plan on using them for future projects.

After moving into our house, we were in desperate need of landscaping help. We used Kane Landscapes because we had heard about their superior work from other happy customers and friends. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Not only did we achieve the landscaping of our dreams, but the process was timely and flawless. Josh and the rest of the team at Kane landscapes are fantastic. They are a group of true professionals when it comes to lawn and landscape. We have used many companies over the years and non compare to Kane. One of the things I liked was how knowledgeable Josh is. I later came to find out he has a degree in horticulture and truly knows the science behind what he does. Secondly they quality of work on the hardscapes is matched by none.

They take their time and do the project correct. In today's world so many contractors simply want to rush through a job. This is never the case with Kane. I would highly recommend Josh Kane and Kane Landscape to my friends, family, and neighbors.

We hired Kane Landscaping to do a landscaping, drainage and masonry project. Project was approximately $50,000. The masonry went very well and we were pleased. The landscaping left a lot to be desired. Employees smoked in my yard/employees didn't show up for a few days with no explanation, causing delays, drainage wasn't set up properly and it wasn't discovered until my husband and I checked it ourselves.

We got apologies after apologies in writing from Kane. I just got my final bill. I got a $200 discount for my time and inconvenience and stress. A complete joke. Will never use them again. I have all the emails proving their errors, in terms of staffing and mismanagement.
