Design Process

We meet at your home or virtually to brainstorm landscape design ideas, discuss possibilities and outline rough budgets. We'll discuss your needs and vision, how you want to use the space and what your expectations are - from the project and from us. Once we have a good idea of where to start, we will survey your property with measurements and photographs of the appropriate areas to draw a base plan. Once this is completed, we sketch out possible concept ideas, as well as a preliminary plant selection and budget for your review.

The King family wanted to create a "staycation" atmosphere in their back yard, something their existing concrete patio area was too small to accommodate. Their plans included a large patio area with stone sitting walls and an outdoor kitchen space. The area is constructed of stacked stone and expanded the previous space by three times, including a new lower level that leads to an outdoor fireplace and playhouse. What was once a small and uninspired outdoor space is now beautiful, warm, and inviting, with ample space for family play and entertaining friends.
