Extremely poor customer service by lying, yelling at customers, grossly disrespectful, mocks customers and would only give vague responses. When there are questions/problems Richard disappears and Heather will yell at you, be disrespectful, and mock you in front of customers & employees. Richard built up a good business & Heather ( President ) is tearing it down! Been a customer for years and never saw things this bad.

Material available at two other locations in town & I offered to buy the material for delivery in 5 days. Heather refused to work this way, and told me it would take 2 weeks to get my check back due to the accountant. Richard told her to return the deposit today, she printed it at the front desk & I picked it up but had to endure additional disrespectful yelling.

I have used Thomas to the front of my home. Landscape, lighting, sidewalks and irrigation. They did such an outstanding job, I had them come back and install two large berms with plants etc. I have also used them to do a floral arrangement for a retiring colleague and it too was stellar! I have been pleased with every detail, customer service and results

Thomas Landscape & Design replaced a walkway, patio and retaining wall as well as bushes and trees for us. We had to wait due to supply chain shortages and weather, but it was well worth it. The Cambridge pavers and all of the plants they helped us choose have changed the look of our whole house. The staff worked very hard, took time to explain what they were doing each day and cleaned up at the end of every day. We had explored other options and are very happy we chose Thomas Landscaping.

Second time ordering seasoned firewood. Consistent cuts and a good mix of size pieces. Small amount of off shoots for kindling. Most all pieces were well seasoned. Friendly and quick service. Cost was average.

I recently requested an estimate to replace mulch with stone. My initial phone conversation with a Thomas salesperson was extremely frustrating. The woman that I spoke to, for some reason, had a very difficult time understanding what I was asking for. She eventually turned the conversation over to someone else who understood exactly what I was asking.

The person who performed the estimate spent less than one minute doing the estimate and never announced themselves or confirmed our request. It took more that a week to receive the 1-minute estimate in the mail. It was very vague with minimal detail of scope-of-work. One detail in the estimate that seemed odd was the amount of stone that would be required (1 1/2 yards).

No mention of either sq.footage or depth of stone that the 1 1/2 yards would cover. Because of the vagueness of the estimate I did a rough estimate of sq. ft. (450) myself. When I went into Thomas to question the estimate the salesperson was very defensive of the numbers. She quickly dismissed the estimate but confirmed my belief that the 11/2 yards of stone was not correct.

She was not able to give me a value of sq. footage or depth of stone that the estimate was based on. I was really only asking because I couldn't understand how there could have been such a difference between what I had calculated and what they had estimated. She suggested that there must have been a misunderstanding between the area that we were doing and what the estimator was told. Even though the verbal discription of the area ( as noted on the estimate) was exactly what we had requested.

They did a great job in our sidewalk and front landscaping. Also did a great job on our stonework on our house. Trouble was that they took forever to do what we wanted them to do and never returned to finish the job. We were told they would be back this spring to finish. It's now September and even though I contacted them in May they never finished the job we paid them to do. Do not recommend them at all.

Went to purchase some loose stone / gravel for a patio project. Not having any idea of how much to purchase leaned on their expertise after giving them the area (LxWxH). The very nice individuals at the company said I needed two cubic yards. After talking to them and before purchasing I searched on the internet and found out, using the same measurements, that I required one cubic yard. Going back to order I asked them why they thought I needed 2 cubic yards and was told "online must be using a different calculation and the calculation we use is how the owner has been doing it for many years".

They seemed turned off by my questioning. As they were the experts I compromised and went with 1.5 yards. 1.5 yards has turned one project into 3 (ended up spending many hours using the stone in other unplanned areas) and I still have stone left over! 1 cubic yard would have been perfect and they recommended double! The staff was kind and friendly but they were either looking to oversell me for more money or have a very poor formula for calculating how much one needs. Use one of the many online calculators to figure out your landscaping needs instead of having them calculate it for you to save time and money.

Wonderful service all around. They cleared a lot of trees in the backyard. Graded and seeded after we had a pool put in. Created and planted 2 berms. Installed irrigation. Even re-seeded the yard after heavy rains washed away the seed. At NO charge! Everything came out great. Very responsive and timely with all matters. Staff at the nursery super friendly and very helpful.

I've also purchased numerous plants which have done very well. I used them to deliver and install mulch around the entire yard at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended for all your landscaping needs. Worked with Heather and Tony and would use them again no questions asked!

They refused my business because they wanted to have my neighbor do all the money collection for my street.

Man showed his true colors or the stripe down his back in the capital. Boycott his company n put him out of business!

Thomas landscaping was delivering 5 yards of topsoil for us for landscaping projects. We called the Thomas Landscaping office two days before to request it be dumped in our driveway turnaround. We asked if the spot needed to be marked and they said no, a note would be made on the order. Not only did they not dump it in the turn around, they dumped it in the middle of our driveway blocking most of our driveway so that we can't even get both our cars in our driveway.

We planned to use this topsoil over the next weeks/months for various projects but now we are forced to try and quickly move 5 yards of topsoil (with a baby due any day) so we can use our driveway. After two calls on Thursday to the office in which the staff was very rude, we were basically told "well what do you want us to do about it now?" We will not be using this company again in the future.

The office staff also said they would pass along what happened to the management who would follow up to see what could be done and we never received any call as of Monday (5 days later)

They did a real nice job on our walkway and very competitively priced. As with any project that's big enough to take several days to execute, you should supervise intermittently and ask questions along the way to make sure there's mutual understanding that what's being done is aligning with your expectations. That's normal and is not at all a negative point. Thomas' were very helpful and responsive. I'm very pleased with the end result.

Thomas Landscape did an awesome job! My yard is really bumpy and slopes in one direction. They leveled the area before the playset was put up, then came back after and framed it and put down the landscape fabric and mulch. This project was a big deal for me, something special I wanted to do for my son that I hope he will enjoy for years to come. The fact that the entire crew was friendly and patient when my son asked questions meant a lot.

They were all very professional as well, and the owner was out with them on the job at times as well. I highly recommend them and would definately use them for future projects.

Great business- Heather and staff are always willing to help with any questions we have. Bought several hanging plants that were fabulous! Bought our Scott's 4 step program again this year from them at a great price. My daughter in law and son always send floral bouquets from Thomas to us and I love the arrangements! Highly recommend Thomas!

Asked them to come out to give landscaping quote. They came out on July 15th, looked at our landscaping and NEVER called us back. That is terrible business and we will never use them again. If they didn't want the job or were too busy they should have called. We waited a month for the call and now at the end of the season looking for someone else

They do the lawns of Monarch senior living and they are awful. They leave grass all over the sidewalks and in gardens. They blow grass on the patios after asked not to.

Did a lousy job for me 2years ago. For $1000, he guaranteed to rid of the green moss, rake it and reseed it. By the end of the season. The green moss still there. He said he did his job. Never use him again.

We just had a ton of work done to our property and our experience was really wonderful. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews on here. Thomas Landscape redid our entire front landscaping including a new walkway with pavers, a new irrigation system, and lighting. Tony and his team were great. Tony made numerous suggestions along the way and we were skeptical at first, but everything he recommended ended up being perfect. We got numerous estimates beforehand and their prices were very reasonable. We are really happy with the new landscaping and would definitely recommend them!

Thomas Landscape did a spring cleanup for me. It was awesome. I was so happy I had to call the office and tell them "you know that when people see a really clean house and say "you could eat off the floor", well my yard is so clean you could "eat off the dirt". They have been doing my mowing this season. I have a very hilly yard and it is the first time I have not had horrible tracks on the hills!

They will be doing a topsoil and reseeding for me as soon as they yard dries up from all the rain (probably be a long while yet!) but I am looking forward to telling you about another awesome job!

Will not buy from them ever again because they don't stand behind their products and the customer service staff couldn't care less. Told me I voided the warranty on my boxwoods the minute I put them into a planter. In less than a minute I found numerous articles on the internet, some from recognized magazines, about why boxwoods are perfect for planters.

Even after showing them this they insisted that boxwoods should not be planted in a pot. Admittedly I could not find my receipt, but at the very least they could have offered a discount. I said I guess I'll have to buy new ones somewhere else and they said "that's fine."

Stopped in and went to "service desk". Wow, what a contradiction to reality.the girls there were UNFRIENDLY, ARROGANT, CONDICENDING, ECT. I truly felt unwelcome and unwanted there. I am a very nice person and not at all pushy or demanding. Will NEVER go back there for anything.

Thomas Landscaping is beyond unprofessional. They installed a sidewalk that every year since has shifted and gotten full of mud during the winter. It also doesnt drain properly and has started growing moss and weeds since day one. Every year I call and am told "we will come fix it soon as the weather clears." Each year I'm also told a different story on why they think it is happening.

And each year I have have to call non stop all summer to get someone out. The first time, they came back, tore up part of the side walk, then left for several weeks leaving me an unusable sidewalk. The following year when the problem wasn't fixed they told me they would be out as soon as winter cleared. They never called and never came the entire year.

This year I was told a new idea and new reason and a new fix. After being blown off again all summer I'm now told nothing is wrong with the sidewalk and they aren't fixing it. DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THOMAS LANDSCAPING. Very unprofessional terrible communication. They also do not stand behind they're work. I actually have voice mail messages from Tony the foreman telling me what he thinks the problem is and that they will come fix it. However, apparently they care nothing for their word or workmanship, because they never come. Save yourself the trouble of losing money and possibly having to to go the BBB or small claims court.

I never saw a service like this. From the owner to the last person in the yard they are terrible. They are rude; they use vulgar language and are useless in providing information regarding their products. The quality of the products is less then acceptable. I went there to buy mulch and some plants and have to leave the place because of so poor customer service. They do not deserve to serve this area. Please stay away of them
