Mike started in the landscaping business 35 years ago. In 1992, he launched Legends Landscaping which has been a fixture of Reno landscaping for more than a quarter century. As founder of the company, Mike has held every position along the way, from laborer to landscape designer, heavy equipment operator to foreman.
I have used Legends Landscaping since 2015 on several occasions for major landscaping on new construction. They have continually demonstrated professionalism and creativity with excellent work from their employees, arriving on time and always following up when necessary. Bart and Shane are two of the best!

I have worked for this company. They told me more than once to stop being so open and honest with the customer. Ultimately my honesty cost me my job. And then they tried to say I was fired for misconduct. i didn't do as I was told, which was to lie. So if you like shady businesses. this is 5 star for that

We just had Legends do a pretty big job for us. Full backyard, side yard/driveway with some concrete and some finishing touches in our front yard. Blown away by how pretty it looks! The backyard was lots of pavers on a raised patio, a firepit with curved bench, a curvy soldier course around the sod area and lots of plants/trees. We could not be happier.
Everyone we worked with was super professional and Craig really listened to what we wanted. Even better, he was not shy about sharing his expertise. We initially wanted to put the fire pit out in the corner of the yard. He suggested we not do that, and to keep it closer to the main patio area, for a bunch of really valid reasons that we had not even considered. SO GLAD we listened to him!
We would not have used it half as much if we put it that far out there. Shane was onsite everyday to manage everything and he was equally as wonderful. The gentleman that did the work were so nice, respectful of property and did an amazing job. Tony, the concrete guy was fantastic as well. They guarantee their work and the quality shows. Highly recommend!

Legends Landscaping is the Best! From my first call, meeting with the designer and watching the workers as they created the most amazing yard I've ever seen. Easy to talk to, they start on time, finish on time and all at a great price! I had my entire yard done, both front and back. This was a big job. Legends took care of everything.

I spent alot of money having Legends landscaping work on my front yard. I realize that it has been a year since they did there work. I tried to turn on my sprinkler system. They had placed new piping under my pavers. The pipes where they replaced started shooting water out. I called them since they are the company that replaced the piping. They called me back telling there not responsible for piping.
That is poor responsibility for shootie work. I tried to call my coordinator. But he never called me back. That shows you how professional they are. Would not recommend them, especially when they don't accept responsibility for their work.

Recently purchased a home with a Legends Landscaping installed irrigation system (as well as full landscaping). Refused to work on a damaged irrigation line and claim they shredded all plans for the system. Despite being a prior customer and providing them business, they refuse work on their own installed system. I would think a business would want to keep their previous customers happy by maintaining their previous work. Not today. If you want service after the installation, don't count on Legends Landscaping.

If I could give no stars I would. I bought a property 10 years ago where Legends had done @ $30000 worth of landscaping 2 years prior. I have a half acre. All the walls are falling in that are supposed to hold up a LOT of dirt. The waterfall feature is a mess. I called for suggestions and help. They sent someone out to look and was told if I wasn't going to spend another $3000 they had no time for me!
When told social media would hear about this I got an email threatening I would hear from their attorney. Never heard from an owner. Great customer service, huh? If you want to throw thousands of dollars down the drain call them, they will help you.

I haven't used this place, but will not based on something I saw with one of their trucks on the freeway. It's this huge dumptruck looking thing, open in the back where debris can shoot out and go all over the place, with a huge black lettering that says: "We are not responsible for broken windshields, Stay back 200 feet." On the one hand, I appreciate the warning, but on the other, WHY wouldn't you put netting over the truck bed, and WHY would your guy be doing 80 in the fast lane with this warning AND an open truck bed?
What it was doing was creating this crazy back up on the freeway, because as he's whipping on by in the fast lane, NO ONE wants to be near him with the warning and the very obvious circumstance that he's taking NO precautionary measures to make sure your windshield doesn't get dinged as he drives by at 80 mph. I mean, seriously? One, netting. Two, hang back in the slow lane. Three, I think it is your responsibility for broken windshields if you won't employ netting and not driving fast enough to insure something flies out of the back.
Good grief. HUNDREDS of cars creating a traffic condition just to avoid him. Ridiculous. If this is how innocent bystanders are treated, then no, would never hire to handle my yard.

My husband & I met with Bart to discuss our plans to extend our exisitng concrete patio and to go over some design ideas for our backyard. Bart could not have been nicer! Bart listened to our ideas and he offered to break down our project down into several phases, so that we can plan our budget accordingly and still end up with an amazing backyard landscape.
