Great gardens with beautiful colors have always been important to Burke Nursery & Garden Centre. Starting as a roadside stand selling annual flowers in the early 1970s, it didn't take long to develop plans to expand the business. With dreams of offering more plant materials, such as perennials, trees, and shrubs, to the local community, Burke Nursery & Garden Centre opened its doors on Burke Rd in the fall of 1977 and the garden center has been growing since.
Celebrate the Past: The past always marks us as we explore future options to create a wonderful present. To celebrate the past surrounding Burke, Virginia a historic marker was installed in 2015 at Burke Nursery & Garden Centre commemorating the former Burke Station Racetrack (later called Copperthite Racetrack) which stood on a portion of the Burke Nursery property.

Lovely nursery! They have events during all seasons. I love their pumpkin patch during halloween and the compost they give out during the spring and summer. Really kind and knowledgable staff that are always available and happy to answer any questions. I always look forward to going to this nursery.

May not be the most economical, but they give great advice and their expertise is worth the extra cost. We find that the plants and flowers we get from them are heartier and healthier. Support home town businesses.

Beautiful nursery. This was our first time visiting and we went for a Christmas tree. The trees were a bit on the pricey side for us but we will definitely visit again for house plants and similar items. Well laid out and close by.

What a great family fun place. There are slides and play areas for the kids. There is a pony ride area and a few other secret attractions. The store is a bit over priced but for what it has to offer and for the experience, it's totally worth going and checking out. Growing up in the country, I'm use to jarred good being much cheaper. The staff was friendly, faculty was clean and it has some tasteful decorations for the fall. We will certainly visit again. It's close to fort Belvoir and it's much better than Cox Farm and Great Country farms for the shorter commute.

We took the family here for the Fall Festival. It was $48 for a family of four. The kids had a great time. There were lots of things to do and we never had to wait. It's similar to Cox Farm, but on a smaller area of land. It never felt too crowded. Food options and prices were fair, but we brought our own lunch. The forest hay ride was neat as well.

We waited until the line died down so we only waited a few minutes. Parking was a little tough and the gravel was not easy on our stroller. I ended up carrying our stroller through the lot. No big deal though.

Incredible selection and they had a horticulturist on staff that recognized my tree and it's yellowing leaves IMMEDIATELY. I got great advice on what to do and recommendations for additional ideas on what would be appropriate to grow in a townhouse. Very impressed.
