Landscaping By Charles McGlinn

Charles and his team helped us with a rather complex landscaping project this past fall. They helped us take down several pine trees that were encroaching on our house and kept dropping large limbs close to our home. They removed stumps and graded to ensure water flow was maintained as designed. Charles was very communicative throughout as he managed a ridiculous workload following the hurricane.

He always kept us informed of timing for work he was planning and next steps. Costs were more than fair and the job was completed perfectly. Really appreciate the attention to detail! Will absolutely call on again and refer!

I am a repeat customer with this business. A few years back Charlie reshaped the back yard after our deck was built. He also took care of a drainage problem I had which was causing water in my basement. I haven't had the problem since. And this spring (2021) they build us a great walkway from the back of our garage and fixed a big mess that some other workers had left in our yard. This involved about 10-12 yards of topsoil, shaping and seeding. It turned out very well. Very pleased with their work.

Charlie and Linda came to our rescue when Hurricane IDA destroyed our driveway bridge. We had been stranded for a week when we found them and they were able to fix our bridge temporarily so that we could get cars across-until we can get the bridge fixed permanently. The McGlinns are professional, compassionate and reliable. They explained the work to be done with patience and thoroughness and responded to all calls immediately. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone!

I needed a section of our yard leveled at the start of summer and Linda fit us into Charlies hectic schedule. The crew, Dan & Alonso, could not have been nicer - very professional and courteous. What I liked most, Charlie met with our neighbor prior to the work starting to discuss access, and even stopped by halfway through the job to ensure the work met his expectations - the owner checking in even on a small job, demonstrates his investment in the work that carries his name. Over the past 6 years, we've worked with Charlie and Linda to regrade our yard, take out trees, put in a paver patio, and most recently, put in a new front walkway. We've been nothing short of impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of the work. They're busy because they're very good at what they do.

We really needed our walkway redone. I happened to see a house in the next neighborhood that had a walkway that was exactly what I wanted. Not only was Linda polite, helpful, and responsive, she went out of her way to drive by the walkway with me to see it for herself since I couldnt visually explain it clearly. The crew arrived, was courteous and professional and made quick clean work. I couldnt have asked for better! I HIGHLY recommend them for ALL your land and hardscaping needs!

I first had work done by Charlie in 2005, then about a year later I added a pool to my home and had Charlie and his crew return to do more hardscaping. Recently, 15 years later, I sold my house and must report that the beautiful paver walkway and poolscape area that Charlie installed so many years ago have not moved at all and they both look just as great as they did when they were installed initially.

At first, I was really close to choosing a different person to do the front walkway project but I thought it would be a good investment to spend a little extra money for the professional job performed by McGlinn. I am so glad I did not go with the other guy because that extra money sure was well spent. I know that the excellent work performed so long ago definitely attributed to adding to the value of my home.

With only a little TLC and occasional sand in the joints the maintenance was minimal & easy breezy. I will say, if you want top notch service & a quality job coupled with many years of experience this is hands down, definitely the right company to call to add some charm to your home. That being said I recently decided to have two flagstone walkways installed at my new home and I'm happy to say that I again went with Charlie McGlinn. Charlie and his crew replaced our front and rear walkways and added a retaining wall in our front yard. The projects turned out great and completely transformed the look of our home.
