We started as a small landscape construction company on the Peninsula and have grown into one of the Bay Area's premiere landscape design-build firms. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional design, elite craftsmanship and horticultural expertise to our clients through efficient project management, clear communication, and rigorous attention to detail.
We begin with a meeting at the site with the Client, Terra Ferma Landscapes' Owner - Brian Koch, and a Design Associate to discuss the vision, key objectives, stylistic preferences and lifestyle. Following the meeting we send out a detailed Design Proposal specific to the project. To begin each project we meet with Clients, assign the Project Team and develop a Project Profile.
Terra Ferma Landscapes boasts over 20 years in business and during this time we have developed a strong reputation across the Bay Area. We believe it all starts with our culture, which is focused on supporting our employees' professional growth and encouraging a fun atmosphere. We believe if we take care of our employees they will be able to take care of our clients and contribute on many levels to the company.
Our Design Director's role is to lead the firm's landscape architecture design team. Our Design Director is responsible for the design and management of all projects within the Design Studio to ensure Terra Ferma Landscape's vision, mission and core values are being met. Our Design Director ensures project success, productivity and accountability by following the firm's policies and projections for the Design Studio. Our Senior Associates serve as facilitators and catalysts. They clarify difficult issues and orchestrate everyone's efforts.
