Elegant Garden

Kelly is awesome! She is very friendly listens to your ideas and is extremely knowledgeable of a variety of plants. We are retired and live in a patio home in Saint Augustine. Our outdoor space is quite limited we have a courtyard in the front and a small backyard. Kelly took pictures of our spaces and made plant suggestions and did an overlay of putting those plants into our spaces so that we could see what her suggestions would look like.

Because we did not want to do a lot of weeding she suggested large pin Gray pots to complement our pavers. She was spot on they look amazing we have received many compliments from our neighbors and friends. This year we had to make some changes because the beautiful blue plumbago that she had suggested for our pots and they are absolutely beautiful, but our sweet puppy loves to smell the flowers and she kept getting hitchhikers on her nose. We recommend that you choose Kelly and the Elegant Gardens to create an oasis in your yard this gift to yourself will be a gift that will go on living every day.

Kelly has a masterful knowledge of native plants and how to use them in the home garden. She is also an incredibly helpful resource long after the project is done. I enjoyed the process of working with her from start to finish.

I've known Kelly since her mother's Sugar Bear Nursery in Orange Park. Kelly has grown up with a love for plants and nurtured that with a quality education in Landscape Architecture at UF. We recently hired Kelly to create a landscape design for the large front yard of a home we'd just purchased. The existing landscaping was overgrown and did not feel cohesive or complementary to the home's architectural style. We had an idea of the 'look'/style we wanted, but were unsure how to execute it. From start to finish, Kelly was a pleasure to work with, and her design and plans were gorgeous.

Not only did she have great ideas, but she was able to salvage some of our existing plants to reuse in the new landscaping. We started work this weekend, and it was so nice going to the nursery armed with a shopping list and plan (vs. our usual aimless wandering/overwhelmed feeling!) We've already received complements on the new look and are only a few days in to the process. We can't wait to hire Kelly again in the future when it's time to re-do the backyard.

Kelly designed my front and back yard landscape and for my home over 20 years ago and it is still thriving and looking great today. She has such a talent for designing with low maintenance and longevity in mind and really listens to her clients needs and wants. Our neighborhood association loved her plan so much she then designed the entrance to the neighborhood with great success. She is very knowledgeable and talented at what she does and is such a pleasure to work with.

We recently decided to re-do all our landscaping. Kelly with Elegant Gardens along with Douglas designed an elegant French/ English country side master piece. We are so thrilled with the variegated colors woven throughout the rolling designs that your eye just cannot capture all there is too see. Smells, textures, and color all play a delightful and larger than life gorgeous canvas. We highly recommend Kelly and her team for any landscaping project.

Kelly of the Elegant Garden is wonderful. She will develop a custom plan for your yard that you will love. She listens to you as you describe the desires you have for your yard. After listening to me she including an orchard in my yard complete with figs and avocados! She showed me plans for a butterfly and hummingbird garden using native plants and included plans for raised garden beds! The plan is everything I asked for and more! Go with Kelly, you will not be disappointed.

Kelly is an artist. When we built our house a few years ago, she helped make the YARD the star. I get compliments all the time but I can't take the credit. I just weed it! It makes our home a beautiful little gem every time I pull in. Always in bloom by her planning what thrives thru seasons. The colors and combinations of plants she selects WITH you, and listens to exactly what you want, are sensational.

She knows about ever species and as a native knows exactly what works in your particular area. She creates beautiful botanical masterpieces out of your yard and all the places you enjoy become true escapes. A true professional and through this a great new friend. I wish I could give 10 stars
