I called Natural Designs to have them quote on replacing a retaining wall and installing a new sidewalk. I had to leave a message but no one called me back. After a week, I tried again and yet again, no response after leaving a message. For fun, I tried one more time and got an actual person but after explaining what I was looking for, he said they were not interested nor did they come to my area then hung up on me.
How can you not be interested in a job without looking at it? The projects are exactly what you offer services for so that's not a good sign. Also, it would help if they listed what areas they DO work in on the website so people don't waste their time. I expect this project to be well over $50k but I guess that's not good enough for Natural Designs.
With that type of poor customer service, I'm glad I didn't let them on the property. It's a shame too based on other great reviews for this company to be treated with such disrespect.

We are delighted with the patio, retaining wall, water feature, and outdoor lighting project that Michael designed and built for us. Michael's creativity enhanced our initial project vision. He truly listened to our ideas, wants, and needs and turned them into reality. We always felt confident working with Michael and his crew, which put us at ease throughout the project.
During the process, Michael met us at the stone supply to help select pavers and rocks. He was responsive to our calls and emails. Michael was always willing to meet with us on site to discuss questions and walk us through the process. You can depend on Michael's crew to show up as scheduled, work diligently, and always clean up the area at the end of each work day.
At the end of the project, the site was left neat, tidy, and ready to enjoy. Michael's experience and attention to detail resulted in a skillfully executed end product that exceeded our expectations. It was truly a pleasure working with Michael. Work was completed efficiently, in a timely manner, and according to budget. Our new patio and water feature bring us great pleasure and enjoyment. Bottom line - we would definitely hire Michael again for any future hardscaping needs and have already recommended him to our neighbors and friends.

My wife and I wanted a large patio for family gatherings. My wife was walking our dog one particular day and noticed mikes landscape trucks at our neighbors home. She kept a close eye on what natural designs was doing. Turns out she loved the work and detailed me to call and set up a time for an estimate. In the end, we couldn't be more happy. A fantastic job and we highly recommend mike and his natural design team. Thanks mike, great job. Kipp

Intentionally gave the work some time to breath before I wrote anything for the review. My wife and I were in the market to have a flagstone walkway and patio installed, along with installation of sod (extending our backyard). I invited 4 outfits to bid on the work. Mike was quick to respond to my initial contact via the web. A few days later he was on site to 'hear' my vision, inspect the property and provide his suggestions.
He delivered his formal proposal in a few short days. His pricing was very competitive - and his evaluation of his crew's availability to begin work was accurate. My wife and I appreciated the time he spent with us talking through different considerations, . We also liked the portfolio of other work he was able to share online. With his ability to begin work relatively quickly - we selected Natural Designs. Skip to the goods. Mike and his team were extremely professional from the word go.
He was very responsive to email communications, the site was kept clean, they were respectful of my home (and my kids who enjoyed watching the work!). I got a sense - as I watched them shape the wall and patio - that they were thoughtful about selecting and shaping each stone for best fit and aesthetic flow. The finished product? We could not be happier.
The walkway, steps, wall and patio are $$$. The sod that they installed performed VERY well. Mike and his TALENTED stone crew are artisans. :) They delivered what they said they would. On time - and in budget.

Michael and his team at Natural Designs did a fantastic job on our landscape project. They build a beautiful winding stone walkway and retaining wall as well planted zoysia sod and matching plants to our landscape. They were very patient working around unforeseen obstacles that kept popping up communicated well on suggestions and ideas. Natural Designs will be my "go to" for future landscape needs!
