I used RMP&W years ago for my landscaping and they did a fine job. When I moved to a bigger house, I had them put in a waterfall, landscaping and a couple of trees. But now it's clear they are under new management. The waterfall has a design flaw, so it constantly leaks. I've wasted many gallons of water because of this. I have asked them to come out several times to fix the leak, and it is still not fixed.
Now they won't even respond. The trees died, so they needed replaced under my warranty. It took them 18 months to replace them and charged me warranty labor which was not a apart of the contract. I have filed a BBB claim against them. Do NOT use this company!

This is the second waterscape we had Dusty and his crew work on. He did a great job on the last one and an even better job this time around. Truly he and his team are second to none on waterscapes. He always exceeds our expectations and creates a space you want to spend time in. If you want a realistic waterfall and pond then contact Dusty and his team at Rocky Mountain Ponds and Waterfalls!

He best way to describe our experience with Dusty and his team, is to say it was like a tv reality show that you get to the end and think, how did they do all of that for that price!?. The crew showed up every day and worked their tails off. The vision they have is amazing. We asked for a waterfall but had no idea it would be this beautiful. Thank you guys so much. We love it.

While Rusty can be a bit difficult to contact at times, we are very pleased with the end result. I would have posted the review last fall, but things got hectic and waiting till spring seemed a better idea given the amount of cold weather and snow we received this past winter. We had only very vague ideas for the waterfall feature and let Rusty handle the design.
We ended up with a feature that is much better than we had expected. Our neighbors sit out in the evenings and enjoy the sound of the water, and we get the experience of living by a mountain stream all the time. The only thing I would like to see different is on the communications side of the business. Rusty seems to be somewhat overloaded with the work and needs somebody to handle scheduling and responses to website enquiries.

Dusty and his crew were able to bring our vision to reality. We have a stunning 3 tier waterfall with a small pond in our backyard, a fire pit with a patio and bench and slab for our hot tub with lovely trees and sod. We are doing our landscape in stages, and RMPW just handled stage 1. It is everything we could have dreamed. We now have a Mountain retreat in our yard.
Next year we will add shrubs and other plants to fill in the space more. It was a bit of a rough road with a delay in getting HOA approval for the designs but once we had that and Dusty got us scheduled.things moved really fast. We are planning on working with Dusty next year on Phase 2. He has the knowledge to bring our vision into reality. We found RMPW at the February 2018 Home Show. Fell in love with the work shown. I would definitely recommend them.

Dusty is an amazing artist and his incredible team shares in his vision and executes with spectacular results. Dusty and team redesigned a very small and pathetic waterfall we inherited into the masterpiece pictured below. We love the plantings, the relaxing sound of water, the nightlights and ambiance it has created for our home. We are very pleased and highly recommend!

RMPW is awesome! We went to the Colorado Home and Garden Show this year with the purpose of finding a company to put a waterfall in our backyard. After several hours at the show, we selected RMPW. The initial meeting with Dusty, the owner, was informative and very professional. Dusty is an artist! Within minutes, he was telling us what he envisioned in our backyard.
We trusted him completely and told him to do what he felt would be the best. His team of workers led by Oscar were incredible, very aware of the surroundings, the neighbors and us. The entire labor team was kind and very hard workers. Our project was done in a very timely manner and it exceeded ALL of our expectations. Our backyard is "Beautiful". As we invite our friends over, we are getting the greatest responses. Great job Dusty and team!

Engaged Rocky Mountain Ponds & Waterfall to rebuild the stream to our home made pond. Big mistake. 1) Because they didn't build up the banks close to where they should be, the stream leaks in multiple areas. 2) They burried a sprinkler head in the burm they expanded, even though it was included in the contract to leave it exposed or move it. When they came back to remedy the situation, they moved it out a foot into the lawn so the lawn behind the head wouldn't get any water. 3) Parts of the black liner were left exposed where they could easily have been covered with existing rocks. 4) Lights that were in the stream were carelessly thrown back, one of which was burried in the juniper tree. 5) Kind of minor but annoying: our contract called for using our existing rocks.
A few of the rocks had concrete between them where we made previous repairs. TMP&W used the rocks with concrete on them and placed the concrete side up. Not a huge deal, I just flipped them over, but still! The dark spots in mulch in the attached pics show the leaks. The biggest thing is when I texted Dusty (his perferred method of communication) pictures of the work, he gave me attitude.
There was no apology for the shoddy work. I told him not to bother coming out to repair - I'll either do it myself or get another company. A really bad investment of thousands of dollars - the water feature was in better shape before they started. I would never recommend this company.
