Hughes Landscaping

Broke hoses in our sprinkler system, doesn't return calls, poor communication, does not do a thorough job as asked. Hoping our experience gets better.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Responsiveness No call and no show. I wish I could say this is the first time. Don't use them, they don't deserve your business. Very unprofessional, and very unreliable. It's almost like they don't want your money.

Critical: Responsiveness Called to get quote for yard redo and for annual yard services. They came out then would not respond with quote, nor offer fertilization, sprinkler turn on, etc. If they dont want my business.just say so.

Anyone who wrote a positive review for this company was paid or is lying. Unless they like getting robbed. This is probably the worst business I've ever interacted with. 100% lie about costs, sent a bill for services that weren't performed or were 10x the quoted price and then threatened legal action when I said I wasn't going to pay. RUN AWAY! This business won't be around much longer.

Gave them a chance to fix it but no call back- Now I have another company coming to fix the mess. Paid $3-4,000 to extend gutter drains with corrugated pipe. Winter comes and they froze solid. Called and was told since it was out of warranty I could pay for labor and they would pick up the plastic pipe cost. Argued that based on spending so much on drainage they should stand behind their work.

Even gave a good review to hopefully get them out to fix. They came out and terminated several freezing pipes just under the decorative rock border. I paid for runs 20 feet long and got something I could have done with a shovel. As more froze I kept calling. What takes the cake is they "fixed" the only 2 that were not frozen. The fix was to dig a 12 inch by 12 inch hole and cut the pipe.

Wonder what happens once that fills up with water and freezes? See the attached photos- no joke this is the worst work product any company could offer. Already have another company on the way. Don't bother responding with excuses. I called and left a message for SH who was "out in the yard" earlier this week. No call back.

Have nothing but good words for Hughes Landscaping and the team that came out to do the work on my backyard. Victor was very thorough and friendly, and understood my vision and his team delivered flawlessly! They were able to make it to my house a week earlier than planned, and completed the job in two hours flat. I am so impressed with their work and everything looks exactly how I envisioned. We will definitely be contacting Hughes Landscaping for all future needs. Thank you!

Victor and his crew did an excellent job on a small project, replacing sod and updating a large flower bed. Victor and his crew were very professional, quality of work was great and communication was excellent. This was my first experience with Hughes Landscaping and I let them know that they are my first choice for future landscaping projects.

Very disappointed! They never showed up to aerate and never called to tell me they needed to reschedule. They also said they would call me to finalize the date to mow then they showed up unannounced and did a terrible job. The edging is poorly done and my grass in the backyard doesn't even look cut. There's still patches of tall grass all over and he broke my tree moving my trampoline.

Hughes landscaping is absolutely phenomenal and they have far exceeded my expectations for my huge landscape project. This company is honest and very knowledgeable. Who knew I was suppose to water my trees in the winter? Dave was the project manager and Sam was the supervisor who delegated everything for their employees. Who were very professional, ohorugh and literally worked the entire day from the moment they arrived at my home until they left.

We had irrigation installed with 20 zones along with bushes, trees and the most amazing and beautiful rock and the most impressive part with this company is they installed 20 pallets of sod in one day. All of their employees have the utmost work ethic I have seen in years. I cannot recommend this company enough for your small and large landscape needs. They're AWESOME!

I started using Hughes Landscaping this spring for sprinkler and lawn care. They have been easy to work with in terms of scheduling and have always come out as scheduled. Early on, there was an issue following a fertilization, and they came out within 24 hours to fix the issue. If I am perfectly honest, I probably have the healthiest looking lawn on the street. I have enjoyed working Hughes thus far, and plan to use their services to design all of the landscaping in my new home.
