Great fall festival. Kids had fun and got a good deal on some shrubs. Much better quality than HD or Menards. Fantastic food and band too.

Beautiful selection, and Ryan was very helpful in selecting what we needed for our yard, and it was cool seeing their chickens, nice people all around

We all know Piala's is the most expensive place in town, but are they worth it? Consider my experience before you decide. I paid roughly $1,400 to have 4 gold cargo arborvitae planted. After the workers left (they didn't say anything, just left) I looked at the trees. They still had the ropes, wire and burlap ball. They dropped them in the hole without any prep.

I called a manager as everything online said that it can take up to 10 years for burlap to fail enough for roots to fully penetrate, and the manager told me it was fine, just keep watering them twice a week (like a potted plant you keep outside, since the burlap sack is as far as the roots can forage for water and nutrients). I've been following that "advice" for months now, and although they are alive, they are very sickly, especially compared to the arborvitae I planted myself (after removing the burlap). So, are two possibilities here: either they believe leaving the burlap on the tree is fine when they plant it (and they may do that to you), or they lied to me so they didn't have to fix an obvious mistake (and they may do that to you). In conclusion, expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely Not.

Beautiful plants however some of those evergreens looked very neglected. The prices are outrageous - Johnson's Nursery puts them to shame. $50 dollars for a common hanging geranium plant? You have to be kidding me. I just bought the same sized plant and quality at Wal-Mart for $10 bucks on sale. Shop around folks.

Bought an expensive tree died a year later. Called a few weeks ago and said they would come look at it and exchange the tree, called them today and now the say it doesn't have a warranty on it. Be careful of what you buy from this place listen learned.

After having a disappointing experience with a pre-order from Johnson's Nursery, we ended up in September at Piala's Nursery. Roger was watering plants when we arrived and he immediately turned off the hose and showed us the Tulip Trees we were looking for. They were stunning and he was certainly knowledgeable. We came back a week later to place the order. John Ward helped us order, pay for and tag the trees.

We came back with our landscaper and a trailer and the yard staff was absolutely amazing. They loaded the trailer and made sure everything was tucked in for the 5 mile drive home. Thank You Piala's, out tulip trees are great and will give us years of shade and much enjoyment.

After building a new home, there's usually not much left over to complete the landscaping. Industry guidelines are 10% of the value of the home, which seems high, but I'll be darned if we didn't come in right at that number. After several thought provoking meetings with our landscape designer Paul, and shopping competitively with two other landscape contractors, we chose Piala's - great decision!

Through a very wet summer and then early cold "fall", we were so impressed with this crew. Arriving at 7 am and leaving sometimes after sunset, they carried on. Paul was so prompt anytime I had a question or was rethinking a decision. We are more than satisfied with this project. We're so excited to see the changes in the spring!

Pialas has the best flowers around and more to choose from. The staff are great & very willing to help you & very friendly. Wonderful garden wind spinners & garden decorations. We moved here in 2015, found them in 2016 & even though I've looked at other places & nurseries, I find myself coming back to Pialas. They also have birds like peacocks, turkey. Used to have a donkey. Just nice being there.

Spent thousands of dollars with this business last year including landscape design. I had a problem with whole varieties of plants not making it. They have very satisfactorily resolved this issue. Thank you Pialas for individual attention to your customers and prompt resolution. Definitely a company I will continue to do business with and recommend.
