First time here not a contractor. Ashley is amazing. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she showed me exactly what I was looking for. She knows what she is talking about.

Very helpful. They had everything we needed! It was the morning of Summer Solstice and we stocked up with firewood for the summer!

Disorganized, no prices listed. I asked salesperson to point me to the cheapest pavers. She said they can't do that - customers have to wander around and pick something, then they'll look up the price. I asked her how much they would put in a SUV. She said "60 pounds." (Actual weight limit is closer to 900 pounds, but this person thought my SUV couldn't handle the weight of a large dog.) As you wander, the fork trucks are flying by at high speed. Actually worried about my safety.

Unless you have all day, take your business elsewhere. 2nd time been here to buy firewood and have waited and waited and waited for it to be brought out. Even after going back in and inquiring. And when finally brought out, guy just talks to his buddy while I loaded. Just awful customer service.

Location on Goldenwest is closed. I called the # and it went to a store in Los Alamitos.

Thanks to Josh my three trips to get gravel from South Coast Supply was efficient and economical. Josh provided excellent customer service and I am satisfied with the amount of gravel he suggested. I appreciate Josh's efforts, he is well knowledgeable and made my project more enjoyable.

I had a good experience here. The staff was very helpful. I just needed a few rocks for a pond in the backyard. I was able to get just what I needed easily and cheaply.

I received excellent service from Josh, as he took the time to listen what I wanted done was able to get my material delivered in a very timely matter, even with the few hiccups we encountered. Follow through was awesome. I had to change my sod order, he was still able to get me what I needed, without me having to change dates with my contractor. In a time we are all living in and customer service and courtesy is dying. I am a satisfied customer.

I avoided this business for so many many years like other companies did and home owners because of Dennis who was a hot head and yelled way to much made going here extremely uncomfortable. Fast forward I heard he had moved on and now Site one runs the place. What a turn around. Great products, great service and good pricing is how this place rolls now. Thanks everyone.

Ordered some samples for stone work on my house and was told a couple days. Waited 2 weeks and went back in and they seemed like it was never ordered then said stuff is taking longer to get shipped in and they would reorder it. Now its 2 months and I still have not heard from them. Will get my stone elsewhere.

Great customer service and great prices. I ordered my decomposed granite and it was delivered the day on time. The man that delivered it was very professional.

Great place had to wait for like 15min while the worker dealt with a unruly customer but super friendly when he was done with that mess lol

The old guy working behind the counter is a rude prick. Won't be back. Went in to buy thin brick and because I did not know how much I needed, he became irritated. Just need a few boxes for the face of fireplace. Plenty of places to go. Don't waste your time at this place.

Lost a customer here. Two employees were on the floor (not in a back room) with NO MASK on. One was even helping a customer! We were in the middle of paying for our item or else I would have walked out! How can a company be so unsafe during this covid surge! I'm very disappointed and felt unsafe being in this store! They should be following the protocols. I will never return to this store.

This is a great place to come for your landscape needs. They carry a variety of stone, cement, pavers, rock. I always find just what I'm looking for every time. The staff is very helpful and ready to assist you.

Almost bought $600 worth of items here. Talked to Mario, who is the semantics king of all kings. He's such a smart ass. Make sure you brush up on your cubic yard and construction terms before you talk to him because he won't even have common sense enough to convert a scoop to a cubic yard even though they are approximately around the same size and is the same price you mentioned in the conversation. That's how much he helps: not at all. He's a jerk.

Approach this establishment with caution, because as the previous reviews say, their customer service is hit or miss. The first time I called them, the guy (I didn't get his name) over the phone was very nice and informative, This time, this other guy Mario was not very nice. If you don't care how people act when you do business with them as if you need them, not the other way around, then this is the place for you. 1 star for being cheaper than other yards. Quite frankly, I don't do business with people who act like I am annoying them.

Giving this place a 3 star since they had what I wanted at a better price than the other 4 places I checked. Only real "gripe" I had was one of the fork lift drivers went off on me about parking in the fork lift lane. Fair enough and I'm not one to cry about a little argument, but there wasn't any sign to tell you where to park to get loaded and I couldn't flag anyone down that wanted to give me info, so I parked and approached a forklift driver who then proceeded to flip out on me about leaving enough space for him to do his job and for me not to park there.

I told him him to eff off and he said something similar. Next guy was helpful and told me where to park and loaded me up and I was on my merry way. Overall not the worst experience I've had and I will be a repeat customer.

I recently purchased Mexican beach pebble rocks for our new swimming pool landscaping and for other areas throughout our side yards. We also bought rectangle concrete steps. My husband and I are very happy with everything we've bought here. The store is well managed. The stock clerks delivering the merchandise to your vehicle are very efficient and courteous.

I used to come here and very much enjoyed it. Two things really irked me when I went last week. First, none of the employees had masks on. The customers all did. Not only is it against the law but they are putting our lives at risk! Second, the business has new owners that got rid of half the merchandise. Everything was dirty and just looked kinda junky. I was very disappointed.

First of all, these people don't hustle for anyone. You're going to wait. Wait for the employees to have a conversation before helping you. Wait for them to finish whatever they're doing on the computer. But all of that would be forgivable, if we weren't in the midst of a pandemic. Every customer was wearing a mask, except for all the employees.

What does that say? It says, "we don't believe in science" or "we don't care about you." The employees don't care or believe they could get you sick, but all of the contractors cared enough to wear a mask. What happened to customers-first or the customer is always right? We waited while two employees discussed the ashes of one employee's mother being shipped from out of state. I'm sorry for your loss, but. you're at work.

We will never come back to this place. You showed you don't care about our well-being. This is some Orange County denial and white privilege. You are not above or an exception to a human virus. Look out for your employees. Look out for your customers.

This place has a good selection and I've always been able to find what I'm looking for, instead of settling for less at the local hardware store. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and courteous!

They have a lot of cool sculptures up front, including a dinosaur, Liberty, a military truck, a knight, and numerous other interesting figures. They sell landscaping stones and building materials. From what I can see, they are a Christian-owned business.

We just received a delivery of DG and Mexican Onyx, the deliveryman Dave from Site One was very courteous and was able to place the DG and rocks where we wanted. He was amazing with his placement and control of the forklift. Thanks for the delivery and you have saved us many trips to your Huntington Beach site. Thanks to all for your assistance and help from all the employees when ever we would pick up material. Happy 4th of July to all.

If I could give them no stars that would be even better. Waited to get a couple of supplies and waited outside for 20 minutes and they weren't even busy. Didn't get anything because nobody even came out to see if I got the help I requested. If you need building supplies there's a good one on Paramount and South Street in the city of Long Beach. Same name, but definitely better help!

THE WORST Customer service I have ever had in my life! Had to walk around and ask 4 people for prices, then we stood in line and waited. The mean, sweaty, heavy set lady behind the counter grabbed my husbands cell phone when he was trying to get a part number off it, and some bald gross guy came up an inch from my husbands face. Social distancing and abiding by the law isnt their priority at all! I would never buy here and never come back ever! How dare they put my families lives in jeopardy like that!

Stopped by here at 4:55pm on a Friday looking for some pea pebbles. We were told they close at five, told that what we wanted would cost hundreds of dollars, and asked to leave. Don't think I'll be coming back.

The environment here isn't great, but they do have a good selection of rocks. Don't fall for the Oil "Muesam" or other attractions on this site.

This place really rocks for major landscaping supplies! The huge supply of rocks are amazing, from all sizes of slate and other kinds of stepping stones to a great variety of gravels. Rocks from all kinds of shapes and sizes and all kinds of lava rock too. Unusual rocks that you may rarely find to a huge selection of boulders. Decomposed granite, mulch and fertilizer in bags, but many supplies in bulk if you like to buy it that way like soil & amendments, mulch ect. Fantastic pottery and decorative statues.

This is an old time place with great old buildings, and operating oil well. Come and enjoy the ambiance and my buddy Victor seems to always have a smile on his face as he loads up the very heavy supply's.

Walked up to simply take a phone pic of the hilarious Dictator-like portrait on display here, and got rolled up on by their "night watchman".at 11am. he told me I should probably go home because I "look like one a them green peace types" then attempted to intimidate me til I left. Hmm.
