Edgar and his crew were awesome! They were prompt and professional. They also communicated very well! I was always informed on who and when workers will arrive. I had them widen my driveway, install my backyard landscape, install a built in bbq grill and put in a pool and spa. We are very happy with finish product! Highly recommend them!

They have completed two backyards for me. One was 5 years ago and I recently had them complete another one when we moved. Both have come out beautiful. They are very detailed and responsive to any questions or concerns you have. I trust their work and am excited to enjoy the backyard for years to come!

We started our bidding process back in March and met with Phil. We had received a few other bids and decided to go with Distinctive Exteriors because we felt their pricing was the most fair (not necessarily the cheapest). Over the next few weeks, we had gone back and forth with Phil and Edgar to design our new backyard, which was a complete remodel.

We then met in April to finalize material options (which we felt were high quality) and have them complete and submit our HOA paperwork. We received HOA approval in mid-May and they were not able to start until mid-July because of delays caused by weather and COVID in previous months; however, we were assured that the wait would be worth it. Construction took about a month.

We dealt with Kevin and Roberto throughout construction. Kevin was more than accommodating on several occasions and we cannot compliment Roberto and his crew enough. The attention to detail was fantastic and overall customer satisfaction was paramount. We've also been assured that should any issues arise (even outside of the stated warranty), they would stand by their work.

The wait WAS worth it and even though our design wasn't the most complex (pavers, artificial turf, water feature/fountain), it is beautifully done and we love spending time in our new backyard. We will definitely recommend this company to anyone looking!

Don't walk away from Phil at Distinctive Exteriors, RUN! Poor work quality and always some whiny excuse as to why things were not done correctly (per the contract).

We had interviewed 4 companies and was referred to DE from my pool guy. From the start Phil was not like the other company reps. He was helpful full of knowledge and most importantly for my wife and I he was patient and willing to help us through the whole process. We were remodeling a pool and not just a new build in a Vegas dirt yard so we were expecting lots of extra stress and problems.

When the crew first started we were put right at ease. The crew was professional clean and more importantly were there when they said they would be. There are a lot of pool builders out there but if you want professionalism, reliability, a schedule that is real and not based on what the pool co feels like doing that week; then Phil and distinctive exteriors is your choice.

Try dealing with couple others first and then give Phil a try. Compare the bullshit from the other companies to Phil's honesty and you will not be disappointed. Remember in Vegas you get what you pay for. Side note. A friend of mine started a new pool build out at the same time I started my rebuild. He chose another contractor (Laguna) who started doing the raiders presidents pool. Mine has been completed for two months and his is still on hold. He has a hole in the ground and I am swimming. You get what you pay for guys!

Great on sales pitch but absolutely awful on Communications, delivery and others. I didn't use them after all the comments i've seen. The company should be named Expensive Exteriors.

They were great! They have done 2 landscaping jobs for us and 1 pool. We have never had less than a great and professional experience! The pool was done in 6 weeks with no trouble! Thank you!

I had a complete backyard renovation that took over 3 weeks and 8 guys only to find out that they did not put anything underneath the rocks to prevent weeds and now my backyard is infested with weeds. I spent over $25,000 to get shoddy workmanship. Every landscaper I have hired to remove the weeds said that Distinctive Exteriors should have put something between the dirt and the rocks to prevent all of the weeds but they didn't. Buyer beware! This is impossible to fix permanently.

My backyard is the best in the neighborhood! I interviewed five landscaping companies before I found Phil. I knew from the moment I met him that he was the right choice. The pricing was fair, Phil was honest with me and the design by Edgar was an A+! What I appreciated most was that ability to easily make changes throughout the process. When it came time to do the work, the workers were courteous and exceeded my expectations in their attention to detail.

These guys didn't miss a thing! I feel truly blessed that I found a landscape company that delivered such value for the money and I plan on using them again (and recommending them to all my friends). If you want your neighbors to be jealous, call Distinctive Exteriors. I'm so happy I did.

Some dead items replaced as promised. New work request denied after yelp post. Will need to finish with another contractor. Phil and employees nice.

Was taking bids for a pool and landscaping job. Called Phil for an estimate. He hardly spent any time measuring the backyard. Had his admin get my email and a few days later, emailed me to say he wasn't interested in the job with no explanation. This leads me to assume that he's afraid to compete against his competitors or he didn't need the business or money.

This is in response to Phil's comments. I find it funny that you decided to reply only AFTER my negative review. Also, we never discussed a time frame as it is the middle of December and I wouldn't be able to enjoy the pool anytime soon. As far as a budget, we hardly discussed it. You asked how much I wanted to spend and I gave you a number. It wasn't what I was willing to spend. It's called negotiating. You of all people should understand how that works.

After talking to a few other landscaping companies, we chose Distinctive Exteriors because of their great reviews and the very fair price we were given. The transformation in our yard was extraordinary, and brings us happiness every time we're out there! We had plants, trees, grass, a patio, and hardscaping put in. All the work was done professionally, and they even accommodated our need to have access to the plant sites before the plants were put in. We couldn't be happier, and are happy to recommend them to anyone needing any landscaping project!

Distinctive Exteriors by far met our expectations and more with our landscape. I had a vision and they were able to draw up a plan and execute. The landscape crew was very efficient, on time and tidy after each day. I would highly recommend them! Thanks Phil!

I have enjoyed working with Distinctive Exteriors not only with his landscaping but also with his custom pools. He has done a fantastic job for me including his entire staff. They have a great design team and do a great job of getting our dreams into the backyard.

Distinctive Exteriors did an incredible job with our landscaping! We choose their service after receiving quotes from a few companies. We were new to the landscaping world and we felt that Edgar really listened to us in the design process. We made a number of changes throughout the process and they were responsive to each of the changes. Gerrardo and his crew were extremely professional and very hard working! Our front yard, courtyard and backyard look amazing thanks to Distinctive Exteriors!

A word of praise for the amazing landscape plan executed by Distinctive Exteriors. Our front, back and courtyards were barren and simply awful until Distinctive Exteriors came on the scene. My backyard, (looked like a prison yard),h as been transformed into a charming intimate garden filled with large trees, shrubs, and flowering bushes. The night lighting turns it into an enchanted garden. I highly recommend this timely, reasonably priced landscape service.

I cannot speakvto their actual lanscape service as my experience never got that far. Although the few staff that I did talk to were curtious I did not feel they were completely up front and honest. The owner came out to myhouse to giving me an estimate. Keep in mind my backyard is TINY, I thought the quote I was given was a bit high. When I expressed this concern the owner basically told me to pound sand and have another company do the job.

Personally I dont see how that is professional in the least. I was told that they have a price minimum and my yard would not reach that. If you know you have this policy why not tell me upfront instead of wasting my time? Apparently Distinctive Exteriors is too good for small jobs.

After interviewing various different landscape contractors, Distinctive Exteriors proved to be the best qualified out of all the contractors we interviewed. Their design abilities, overall knowledge and professionalism were hands down the best we have seen. Through the entire construction phase they proved that they do deliver a distinctive difference. And overall they provided us with very high value for our dollar. Great job by a great company.

I am so happy with the landscaping Distinctive Exteriors did at our home. Our backyard is an outdoor paradise. We added an outdoor kitchen, which we absolutely love and use frequently. Our landscaping is lush and beautiful. They did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations.
