Steve has come to my house twice to 1) fix a broken sprinkler line and 2) blow out my sprinklers. Both times he has done a fantastic job. He showed the broken sprinkler line to my wife and fixed it and adjusted other sprinkler heads. All this was done quickly and very affordably. He has also come to blow out my sprinkler lines and he did a great job also.
He ran me through exactly what he was doing and explained things to me. He is knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Will be using TLC and requesting Steve for all my other needs. Thanks very much!

This company had a major hydraulic mishap on my property. NEVER cleaned it up and said sorry.pay up! Owners are complete and total a$$ holes.period. Do not let the owners response fool you. They left my property for the day and cleaned nothing! They NEVER said sorry once. Just read all the negative reviews on Google and Facebook and judge for yourselves.

The guys that mow the yard are so rude! I have put up with it about 5-6 weeks and never have they been respectful, courteous or even pleasant! I can assure you there are plenty of people to mow grass. I won't feel like an inconvenience when I am a paying customer! Further, they have never called me back about trimming, nor doing my Hardscapes! Terrible company!

I asked TLC for two separate issues, my sprinkler system with replacing heads and adjustments as well as relocating heads and I started a project of building a two and three layer rock front flower wall. They were here quickly and took care of all my sprinkler issues. I know they have lots of customers asking for landscaping projects but they are doing everything thing they can to fit me in their schedule. I would recommend TLC to anyone, I have seen their work and they professionals. Derek.

Great company! They do everything in my yard and designed my entire front yard! They even do my snow removal and clean snow off my back deck early and stairs so my dogs can get in and out! Love all their crews! Even know most of the guys names! Services: Sod installation, Weed control, Mulching, Yard work, Irrigation system repair & maintenance, Lawn mowing & maintenance

If i could leave a zero star i would! Some of the rudest employees and employer. I made a call to request service information and got greeted with the most rude attitude i couldve imagined! In the background there was constant yelling and belittling of employees through office clerks. I reached out to a former employee and was informed of the constant (excuse my language) name calling of being an "asshat" "bastard" "dumbass" "piece of shit" and plenty more. DO NOT LET THEM CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THE WAY THEY TREAT PEOPLE! Horrible service and will never recommend. I feel bad for any of their employees. NEVER EVER GO TO THEM!

It says a lot about the ethics of a company when the vice president of the company Candice Becker writes her own review on Google. It makes the reviewer to believe she is a paying customer. It really makes a person wonder how many of the other reviews on here are authentic customers. We wanted biweekly mowing during the summer. The person we spoke to said the owners don't like to do biweekly mowing even if the grass does not need to be trimmed and will refuse to set up business accounts for those who want it completed biweekly.
He stated just to call prior to the scheduled mowing date to cancel for the week and that would be sufficient. Despite cancelling with sufficient notice (well over 48 hours) they repeatedly sent staff to the residence to complete yard work and billed. Their customer service is sub par and the way the staff verbally treats customers is unbelievable.
I will say their work is above average and they are punctual but that is as good as I will give TLC. In my opinion keep a file with complete names, dates, times, and the content of conversations when transacting business. I learned the hard way by not documenting everything down to the minute detail and won't ever make this mistake again. Get everything in writing, including if you cancel service for any reason whatsoever.
They have e-mail. And, if you are really wise, record all the phone call discussions, including when you cancel service. All smart phones have a recording option. This way if you ever have a dispute you will have hard evidence of their discrepancies along with phone records. They could be recording their own phone calls but record your own just in case since Kansas state law is one-party consent. This means they don't need to disclose they are recording conversations and you don't have to disclose you are recording either.

Worst customer experience I have had in recent memory. The service that was provided was expensive, ineffective and conducted by employees that don't know what they are doing and don't care about their customers. When I voiced my concerns with a phone call, I was treated rudely and with the same attitude. Do yourself a favor, use ANY other company in KC for a better experience!
